CH887: A Balogun Day of Celebrations

Korede walked briskly towards the Ancestral Hall. 

Many Balogun Family members had arrived the Family Estate for the coronation ceremony. It seemed the news of Korede's appointment as the new Head Elder of the Family had spread through many of his older relatives.

Most of the adults wanted to greet and exchange words with him, but the newly appointed Family Head didn't have the luxury of time for pleasantries. He excused himself and hurried toward the Ancestral Hall.

He didn't want to keep the Family Protectors waiting.

One of the Hall's caretakers was outside, waiting for him when Korede arrived. The Caretaker quickly led him into the Ancestral Hall to the Protectors' Hall within.

Unsurprisingly, he met his brother, Kola, and the four public Protectors there.

"Protectors." 

He respectfully prostrated himself to the old men in greeting before turning to his brother.
