"Well, it's because of my poor living condition, of course," Shi Ying said. "After my uncle sold all of my grandpa's assets, including his lands and cattle, he ran away, leaving us with mountains of debt. My dad doesn't have enough money to buy a good land near the main road, so we have to buy cheap land as long as it's wide enough."

"That's why we lived in the depth of the jungle, and they called me Tarzan Girl ah, ahahaha!" Shi Ying replied happily. She didn't seem to have any insecurity nor shame about her identity. 

"Jie…" Menghuo wanted to pity his beloved Jie, but somehow, she felt that Ying Jie didn't need his pity. She was a strong woman who worked hard and could provide for herself and her family. 

Just like Batman Jie, Menghuo had a strong preference for a woman that could stand by her own, though, of course, he wouldn't let anyone hurt her Jie.
