I went back to the team, "come on girls, just do this, keep smiling. We came this far, we can't loose our cheer." I said, knowing in my heart, that these were just lies.

"As you all know, the wining team automatically qualifies for Nationals." The announcer said, giving those egoistic Greenbitches a reason to smile.

"But this year the team that qualifed for Nationals isn't the winner of the interstates competition. Infact, the team didn't win any award tonight. But this is a team with variation that brought old school funk back into cheerleading. A team that despite all odds stood their ground and competed." The announcer explained.

My chest was pounding again, I held unto the girls, we were all anxious, I even said a short prayer.

"The team representing our state at the Young females Cheerleading Tournament is Hall Of Fame Academy!." The Announcer screamed into the microphone.
