Chapter 57: Practice

The Apocalypse had just begun in the first two days, many people developed high fevers, some fevers receded quickly, and those people even discovered they had awakened special abilities, while others, still delirious with fever, transformed directly into zombies and lunged at the friends, lovers, and even family members who were caring for them.

Television stations, after going offline on the first day, resumed their normal broadcast by the morning of the second day. A family watched the TV as it reported situations from around the globe and couldn't stop sighing.

Almost all media outlets were urging people not to go out unless absolutely necessary.

From their TVs, citizens could see footage of various supermarkets, monitored by cameras; restaurants, hotels, including images captured by drones of markets and streets, virtually every corner teemed with wandering zombies.
