Chapter 1739. Taken the Bait

The battle at the wall continued to heat up. The guilds on the Liguritudum's side were forced to summon their guild armies to help defend the wall. They were left with no choice after two parts of the wall were broken.

The Allied forces, on the other hand, hadn't yet summoned their guild armies. They had more than enough soldiers to fight the enemies. Summoning more soldiers wouldn't be effective. Once their soldiers entered the capital, they would summon the guild armies. There would be enough space for the guild armies to maneuver then.

On the side where World Ruler was defending the battlement, Wilted's team was still battling Mistress' team. Mistress had retreated and was behind her guild members' protection. Paytowin, Anotherday, and Joe chased after her.

More of the Allied forces climbed onto the battlement at that side and helped Wilted's people. Some of the reinforcements were members of Wicked Witches and White Scarfs.
