Sparks fly

Kristofer felt his heart jumping right out of his chest. With Anna whispering so close to his ear, he felt her breath against his skin, making him restless in his wheelchair.

He had to restrain himself. 

Muttering a curse, Kristofer closed his eyes and mentally took a deep breath.

"You're such a tease, Anna. Did you know that?"

Anna giggled, planting a soft kiss on his cheek.

"I know. But you did challenge me. I hate backing down on a challenge."

It was Kristofer's turn to chuckle. 

"By the way, Anna. Don't you have work to catch up on? You spent most of the last few days being my personal nurse."

Anna clicked her tongue. She didn't want to betray anything. This was the part where she had to thread carefully.

A slip on tongue was not an option. She can't be careless even when she was wanting to tell everything to Kristofer.

"Are you trying to get rid of me now?" She pouted even though Kristofer couldn't see it.
