Across The Universe (Poem)
The future feels finicky
The past is a pulling, plunging pool
Between both lies opportunity
Of which is never fully known
He knows our story
He holds the glory
He keeps us hoping
He keep us going
Through His Great Child
There is a life worthwhile
That is farther than any mile
Across the fields
Across the world
Across the universe
There are the shields
Separating us from the kingdom
This world is temporary
This life is not grounded
It is not forever
It never was forever
The devil is just that clever
God knows all of our story
God holds all of the glory
Beginning to end
A journey is taken
None of which is mistaken
But...
Is it something we will truly believe in?
Back then. What will happen? It's normal to question and want to know. But, now? Right now? All of it can change. All of it will change. What has been done and we what we have before is over with. Where we end up, and how we end up? That is still up for debate. We make choices everyday. Ones that hurt or help ourselves and others. God sees all of it. He knows where we stand, and where will we go. True life is about living. Actually living. And, that takes being out of the flesh. Out of our comfort zones, and looking beyond where we are. For true life isn't about standard soil. Because true life is above everything we could ever imagine. With it, our eyes become open. We become whole. Through Jesus Christ, it is something that shall see. Through Jesus Christ, it is something we shall be.
