Avery sat with Matt on the bed she was still shaking Caleb knocked the door. ‘May I.’

Matt looked at Avery and she nodded.

‘Sure. I’ll leave you two to it.’

Matt pulled himself up. ‘If you need anything.’

‘I’ll be fine, go back to Shawna, she needs you more than me right now.’

He walked away looking at Caleb. ‘Take it easy on her she’s been through a lot.’

He tapped his shoulder walking away. They’d all been through the mill and back these last 48 hours. He walked cautiously into the room. May I?’’

He smiled sitting next to her. ‘I'm sorry this all had to happen to you Avery.’
