Given their previous encounter, where Master had beaten and embarrassed him, Wu Zimo suspected that Si Kangning's arrival with the elders of the Si family was to settle that score.

Wu Zimo stood his ground, blocking them from entering. He believed that if the Si family wanted to address the past, they should approach him instead of bothering Master.

Wu Zimo remained vigilant and prepared to take action if necessary.

Si Kangning grew annoyed as he looked at Wu Zimo. "It's none of your business. I'm here to see this girl. Don't obstruct us. The Si family has matters to discuss with her."

Wu Zimo, not letting his guard down, asked warily, "What's the matter?"

"Zimo, the Si family seeks her assistance in a certain matter. It's not a negative proposition, so don't hinder us here," the elders of the Si family intervened, standing up to address the situation.
