After a very shocking revelation about what did I have to bring to have the dwarves forge my godly weapon, I… didn't know what to do… I mean, the first few ingredients were fine, I mean maybe a bit weird and over the top, but fine, but the last two freaking ingredients, how the fuck was I supposed to the get last two? Fenrir was supposed to be as strong if not stronger than Odin, and Jörmungandr was no better, the big snake was prophesied to be the one that would end Thor's life, meaning it was at least as powerful as Thor, and frankly I was nowhere near that level yet.
Then again, I didn't have to fight them… all I had to do was get the ingredients, and my norse knowledge was accurate, there was a chance I could get those delicate items without fighting them. Jörmungandr was, according to the legends, big enough to encircle midgard, which meant it was entirely possible to simply gather the scales I needed from the end of its body, instead of having to fight the monster in a battle I would not win.
Fenrir on the other hand, was a tad more complicated, accordingly to norse lore, he was trapped on a cave with magical chains the dwarves made to keep him on place, those chains would hold the father of wolves inside a desolated cave until Ragnarok started, and while this little fact if true would save me the trouble of fighting him. It would not help me at all to get what I wanted, one of his fangs.
"There is no shame in rejecting this quest," Thor stated, looking worried, which was not normal for him, "Fenrir and Jörmungandr are beasts no one can truly match," he added with a sigh, putting a hand on my shoulder, "You don't have to do this, you can be plenty strong without a weapon,"
"Thanks, but I think I will try," I replied with a chuckle, was I making a mistake by risking my life on assumptions that were based on knowledge from another universe? Perhaps… but if I wanted to be strong enough to obtain what I had always craved, my freedom… I needed to risk it all, high bets usually have high gains.
"Then allow me to come with you," Thor said filled with resolve, "I can be of assistance if anything were to happen," At this, I looked at Mótsognir giving him a look that said, is that allowed, to which the dwarf smith simply nodded.
"Sure, but just so you know… I am planning to get the ingredients without fighting," I was not ready to fight those two, not even by a long shot, so instead I would play this little quest, as smart as possible.
"It's your quest," Thor grinned, giving me a one armed hug, "I will follow your way!" he declared loudly.
"Perfect, now… let's start with the first ingredients shall we?" I smiled, deep down what kind of weapon I would get from all this ordeal, because so far, it seemed I was getting a very powerful one. Then again, with my luck, one can never know, "So…. How exactly do I get the heart of a falling star?" was I supposed to go to godly walmart or something.
"I have no idea," Thor laughed, slapping me in the back, "But I am sure, the All-Father knows, so let's go and ask him," he offered.
"Let's," I nodded.

So…. After I went back to Asgard, I… did what Thor recommended to do, and asked Odin where and how could I get the heart of a falling star, and boy… I was not ready for the answer, from what Odin told me, the heart of a falling star is a fucking black hole, how did that made sense? Beats me, but according to Odin, that was the first ingredient, three black holes. How was I supposed to carry them? I am still figuring that one out, but yeah… black holes. At least the second ingredient, the tears of a virgin of pure heart, was easy to get, I had my supplier. Hestia.
She was pure, and a virgin, so all I had to do to get my godly tears, was make her watch Hachi: A Dog's Tale, that movie alone generated more than enough tears to forge hundreds of weapons.
"I hope, my tears work," Hestia sniffed, hugging me tight, "Poor doggie,"
"They will," I hugged her back, "I will be back as soon as I get the other ingredients, thanks for the help," I patted her affectionately on the head, ruffling her hair.
"Happy or rather sad to help," Hestia chuckled.
"Let's go!" Thor jumped out of nowhere, dragging out of the warm trademarked embrace of Hestia, "We have three black holes to catch, a snake to shave and a wolf to give some dental care!"
"See ya later!" I waved at Hestia, as Thor dragged me across the halls of Hotel Valhalla.
"Take care!" Hestia waved back, with a bright smile.

[Artemis POV]
Adam had rejected the offer father had given him, and to add salt to the injury he did in a way that had Zeus furious, I couldn't really blame him though, after all we did… he had more than enough reasons to hate Olympus as a whole, but even then, he didn't have to be so difficult, what need did he have to make an enemy of Zeus, an enemy he could not hope to face.
"Well, you were right," Apollo sighed, running his hands through his golden hair, "Adam basically told dad to fuck himself," he chuckled darkly, "He ain't coming back, isn't he?"
"I don't think so," I sighed.
"Dad won't stop trying until he has Hestia back," Apollo muttered, "We need to stand together, or Olympus will fall… I think that is why father is not ordering everyone to go out and execute Adam, because whether he likes it or not, Adam is part of Olympus,"
"He is, after all, the hearth welcomed him more than it has done with anyone before," I nodded, because unknowingly to everyone, Hestia had linked Adam to Olympus, stopping my father from killing him, I wonder when she did that?.
