Next morning.

Chen Lili and Luo Yixuan was working together. Soldiers were coming in one by one to get some consultation from Luo Yixuan.

They were working seriously and everything was smooth sailing.

However, Chen Lili and Luo Yixuan were awkward when they were together alone. Luo Yixuan couldn't face Chen Lili ever since she kissed his cheek yesterday.

It was so awkward and he couldn't look at her in the eyes.

On the other hand, Chen Lili felt dejected after Luo Yixuan avoided looking straight at her. Was she too rush yesterday?

Did he hate it?

She recalled this morning when she entered Luo Yixuan's temporarily office.

He was reading the files and startled when Chen Lili came in. His expression looked complicated.

He composed himself and greeted her as normally as he could but he stammered.

"G-Good morning."

After that, he avoided her eye contact.

She tried to engage in a conversation such as did he sleep well? Or did he have breakfast?

He responded but turned his face away avoiding looking at her. This made Chen Lili upset.

Before the next soldier came in, Chen Lili took the initiative to ask him.

"Are you avoiding looking into my eyes?"

Luo Yixuan startled at her questions. He knew his action was obvious but he just couldn't help not looking at her.

He still felt embarrassed about yesterday.

"Ahem..... Perhaps."

"What perhaps?! You obviously didn't want to look me in the eye! Am I that ugly to look at?!"

Luo Yixuan was speechless. How did she even come to a conclusion like that? Was he that judgemental?

"No. You're not ugly at all. Don't talk about yourself like that."

"Is that so? Then, look at me in the eye and say that in my face."

Luo Yixuan pursed his lips. He couldn't do it.

Whenever he looked at her, he will subconsciously looked at her pinkish lips.

He recalled the soft sensation that landed on his cheek yesterday. He couldn't get that scene out of his mind

Well, it was the first time a female kissed him on the cheek.

"I'm sorry."

Luo Yixuan bowed before Chen Lili and apologized. For the time being, he just couldn't look her in the eye.

For some reason, Chen Lili's anger dispersed. She suddenly felt like Luo Yixuan was cute. It was not his fault he was like this.

She was the culprit of the problem.

"Ahem.... Please don't be sorry. It was my fault to begin with. I.....shouldn't have done that to you without warning. I'll tried to refrain myself from now on. Well, you couldn't blame me for doing that on impulse because you're too charming."

Chen Lili blushed as she complimented him.

Luo Yixuan was feeling sheepishly as he heard Chen Lili complimented him.

The next soldier came in and saw the atmosphere were filling with pink bubbles as he saw two doctors were shying away.

The soldier felt like he came in the wrong timing.

When they saw the soldier was standing there, they professionally returned themself to normal and continued to work.

The soldier coughed a little and scratched his head awkwardly.

"Did I interrupt you guys?"
