120. Creating New Sword

"Huh? Don't look down on me, brat!"-Kozaburo

"I'm not, it's just that this metal need a special energy to be fused at it's molten stage. Only i can give this energy, it's just at molten stage, and i will leave the rest to you."-Jon

Kozaburo look at Jon's serious face and finally allow it. Then he go to his workshop far behind the house, and only Jon can follow him. Dragon & Koushiro can't follow him, so they just leave to the Dojo again.

Jon arrive in Kozaburo's workshop, and he see many smithing tools that he only saw in TV or Youtube. Kozaburo prepare his tools and instruct Jon to help the preparation. Then Kozaburo change his clothes to work clothes, and Jon also change to a comfortable clothes.

"Did it need to be melted?"-Kozaburo

"Not really, but from what i know, the energy can only be fused at molten stage. With the energy fuse, the metal can be tougher and more suitable to use for my power."-Jon

"Your power? Is this metal compliment your power?"-Kozaburo

"Yeah, my power is chakra, and this is chakra metal. You should realize from it's name that this metal support my chakra power."-Jon

"So by fusing it at molten form, you make the metal more suitable with your chakra?"-Kozaburo

"That's right."-Jon

They lit the furnace and put the ingot inside a stone bowl. It take an hour for the metal to melt with about 2,500 degree Celcius. It's higher than normal iron, and they even need to use sunglasses because it's too bright for their eyes.

Jon immediately fuse the molten metal with chakra. He use his chakra and Kurama's chakra for it. Just like Kurama's instruction, he use all his affinity on the sword, including Yin & Yang. Jon try to control his chakra output to be even between all affinity. Kurama also did the same and he help Jon controlling the chakra output. He is made from chakra, so his chakra sense is topnotch.

From the outside it will looks like rainbow coloured energy surrounded by orange energy flow from Jon's hand. The white & black are Yin & Yang chakra, and placed in the middle. They're surrounded by white wind chakra, red fire, brown earth, blue water, and purple lightning. Each of them are surrounded by orange chakra from Kurama.

When Jon fuse the metal with his & Kurama's chakra, the metal also seem to absorb their chakra at fast rate. Even Jon's mid-kage level chakra is not enough. He need to use his Yin Seal to give more chakra. Luckily it stop after taking half of his stored chakra. It's not much for Kurama, but it's much for Jon.

"Damn, this metal is very greedy."-Jon

'Usually it didn't absorb this much. Maybe because it absorb my chakra too, so it want more. But the sword will be stronger than any sword from chakra metal out there. It can be said to be made from my chakra, a best possible material.'-Kurama

'But i can die if i don't have mid-kage chakra or Yin Seal. Luckily we just make one, or i'll really die.'-Jon

"You're okay brat?"-Kozaburo

"Yeah, you can cast it now geezer."-Jon

Kozaburo take the stone bowl and pour the liquid metal to the mold. He just use an ingot mold instead of sword casting mold with sword shape. He said that he will forge the sword not casting it. He just let the melting process to allow Jon fuse chakra on the metal.

"Why'd you need to forge it? Wouldn't it be faster if you just make a mold and cast it?"-Jon

"I never cast my sword, i just cast the scrap metals to combine them. Forging is my art of sword making, and i will always do it. Just believe me, i will make the best sword for you."-Kozaburo

"Alright, alright, you're the boss. So, how long will it take?"-Jon

"2 weeks, no, come here in 3 weeks. I'm already old, so i'm not as fast like when i'm young. I also need to be delicate with this material. It might be my last sword, so i will give it all, you don't need to worry."-Kozaburo

Jon look at Kozaburo, and the geezer look very happy. Jon just smile and leave the workshop, his role has ended. He will leave the happy geezer alone to do what he want. Someone is always happy to do what he love, and the geezer must really love forging a sword.

Jon just about to leave the workshop, when a grandma stop him. The grandma have white hair and use a cane to walk. She wore a traditional kimono and bring a box that tied by cloth.

"Young man, i am Tsuki, Kozaburo's wife, would you like to have lunch with me?"-Tsuki

"Sure, but isn't that lunch box for that geezer?"-Jon

"Ahaha, i will just leave it here, he will not eat when he's too excited like that. So at least he will find this lunch box when he's hungry. We can eat at my house, there's something that i want to talk about."-Tsuki

"Alright."-Jon

Jon follow Tsuki to her house after she put the lunch box inside the workshop. When they arrive in the house, Jon follow Tsuki to the dining room. Then a maid bring some food and tea inside. The maid left and they start to eat the food.

"I want to thank you for today. It's such a long time since my husband is happy like that."-Tsuki

"I'm not planning to make him happy, but good to know that he can be happy after such a long time."-Jon

"He start to lose his happiness after our grand daughter, Kuina died at her childhood. He & Koushiro didn't really show it, but they're very sad by that. He can relief some of his pain because of that green haired child, Zoro that always remind him of Kuina."-Tsuki

"Grandma, you know Zoro?"-Jon

"Yes, he's a funny child that use 3 swords and bite one of it, hahaha."-Tsuki

It seem Tsuki has consider Zoro as a grandson or she's just grateful because Zoro make Kuina alive in a sense. Jon know Zoro's childhood story and his promise with Kuina. That's what make him want to be the strongest swordman afterall.

Jon then tell Tsuki about Zoro's story since he join the Straw Hat. Tsuki seem happy hearing about Zoro that doing fine. She know that he want to be the strongesr swordsman, and she's happy about it.

"Actually he lost a sword in Enies Lobby, a named sword at that. Luckily the one that broke was not Wado Ichimonji, it is full of memory for him and you right?"-Jon

"That Wado Ichimonji, is one of my husband's creation."-Tsuki

"Really? Amazing, he made one of 21 Great Grade Swords."-Jon

"Yes, that's one of his masterpieces. You can even hope your sword to have the same grade with Wado Ichimonji considering his mood."-Tsuki

"That will be perfect, if the sword can be as strong as 21 Great Grade Sword, then it will be the perfect companion for Kusanagi."-Jon

"Oh, you have a good quality sword too?"-Tsuki

"Yeah, but it's not a Famed Sword, so not many people know it."-Jon

After talking for sometime with Tsuki, Jon go back to the dojo. He meet Dragon and the others there, loading supplies. Jon then tell Dragon what happened before with geezer Kozaburo.

Dragon then tell Jon that they will leave for his next mission. He can go back here in 3 weeks, with the East Army's help. They will move to East Army's base for now. Jon already know all the Army Commander in RA, but he never meet them except Ivankov.

"So what's the mission? Will Robin join me on this mission?"-Jon

"No, she have different thing to do, you will move alone. I will assign the East Army to assist you if you need it, but you need to do it alone if you can."-Dragon

"Oh, alright. So, the mission?"-Jon

"I want you to destroy Tequila Wolf, alone."-Dragon

"That massive bridge? Why'd you want to destroy it?"-Jon

"To warn the World Nobles that we can destroy what they've built. It will also relief some pain of the slaves that has been forced to work there."-Dragon

Jon just sigh, and think of this as his training. He didn't really like a mission to use brute force and demolish structure. He prefer to fight other people and gain experience from it. Demolishing a massive bridge can help him train his firepower, but it's not his preferences.

Some hours later, they arrive in East Army's base that looks like normal village. Then they meet with the commander there, Belo Betty. She's a rude women that always say rude words. But Jon didn't feel like she's insulting anyone, she's just rude on her words, that's it.

They rest there for a night, and the next day, they leave and Jon is being left there. Then Jon follow the East Army's ship and move to Tequila Wolf. When they arrive there, he's very amazed by the mere size of the bridge. But he know it was made by sweat & blood of slaves.

"Here's my number, trash. Call me if you need something, then i will send some scums to come here."-Betty

"Sure, thanks a lot old hag, see you later."-Jon

"HAG?!"-Revolutionaries

The revolutionaries got scared, and look at Betty then at Jon. But Jon has already run very fast on water and climb the bridge. Jon know Betty is not a bad person, but her words are still hurt. So he want to have some revenge, but he didn't dare to stay longer, or she will kill him.

Betty just smirk and she command the army to go back to their base, leaving Jon alone. Jon see them leaving and got relief, he still want to live afterall. Then Jon look around the bridge, and it still empty after the last attack by RA that coincidentally save Robin.

"Hmm, how should i destroy this place?"-Jon

'Use it to train your affinity, especially water & earth to get that wood kekkei genkai. I'll help you with the chakra, so don't worry.'-Kurama

"Ooh, thanks about that. I guess i will use it on my sword and train my sword art & haki too."-Jon

Jon then do like Kurama said, he make 6 clones and they take a long distance from each other. His main body will try to use water chakra, while his clone will use other chakra transformation, including Yin & Yang. They all use two wooden ninjato and cover it with haki. Jon now can cover his sword with haki, but he can't do it for long, so this will be his training too.

"Using wooden sword and cover it with haki & chakra can help me master them faster. If i always use sword with material that support chakra, then it will be easier but my progress will get slower. People grow from hardship."-Jon

At first, Jon train using chakra blade that only have some portion of chakra metal. There's no problem at first, but then his progress start to halt at 70% chakra mastery. He try to use wooden sword and it's hard, but he is progressing again.

At first, the wooden sword aways got destroyed by his attack force. So he need to coat it with haki to make it tougher. Now when his chakra mastery surpass 80%, his chakra will cut the target without breaking the wood.

But he still use haki to train it, and make him raise his haki using time. Haki is just like chakra actually, it had capacity and can deplet. Raising Haki capacity is also the same as chakra, he need to deplet it so it will grow.

But even if it use spiritual energy like chakra, Jon can't take the energy from his chakra. They're mysteriously seem to have different source. Slowly, Jon destroy the bridge using his wooden sword, chakra transformation flow, and armament haki.
