The moment when the Doctor said the Loud Family have to get out of the room so that he can start to examine Lincoln, the Loud sister were to fight for the right to stay more, literally, Lynn Jr was cracking her knuckles eyeing the Doctor with her ferocious stare. Her eyes had an amazing effect, especially on the poor nurse, that was staying in the back and starting to tremble in his orthopedic shoes. However, with heavy hearts, their Mother and Father had to agree with the Doctor.

"Come on girls let the Doctor do his business."

Said the father while putting a hand on his wife's shoulders, ready to exit the room.

"...Mom"

...more or less. When they heard the weak voice of their only son, they felt a giant rock landed directly on already weak hearts. The father couldn't say more so Rita turn her head towards her only boy looking at his beautiful face. Trying to not look too much at his beautiful eyes that were silently pleading to not leave him alone. She didn't have to turn around to know the rest of the family had the exact face as the boy even her husband, but she knew they can't stay here much.

What the Doctor said to them before affected deeply the mother of 11 children.

Only the thought of her only boy being scared of his own family, not able to look in their eyes, not able to touch either of them. Rita can only clench her teeth to the maximum possible. Right now Lincoln looks comfortable around his family, his smile was wide and his eyes were sincere and clear, however, neither of them didn't realize it yet, but a mother knows. His eyes were so happy, yet they widen for a second every single time when his sister hug him only to recover to the next second, how in all this time he never looked into her eyes not even for a moment, how she could feel his heart jump out off his chest and his skin getting goosebumps when her arms held him to her chest.

Lincoln was happy that they were there, he didn't wanted them to leave, that was the truth Rita could see clearly, but that didn't mean he was not afraid, afraid of his own family.

Especially by her

Rita saw enough evidence in this short time. They have to leave now so that the Doctor could finish what he needs to do and then they can show Lincoln he shouldn't be never afraid of them, and maybe to bring him back to his old self before this whole disaster happened.

"Now, Honey I promise we will stay close but the doctor have to finish his job, you will not be alone they will stay here with you and the moment we can we will back come back to you."

"You can bet your sweet ass we will! I don't mind throwing another nurse to get here!"

"Lynn language! ...Wait, What?!"

All the family could see the nurse in the back go full red, not even the doctor couldn't stop smiling in amusement. Lynn senior knew now he should interfere and scold their sporty daughter, but he knew if he open his mouth now he will definitely laugh, most of their daughters had an even harder time holding their laughter, so he left the task in the hands of his wife than was just shaking her head slowly.

"Lynn you're grounded. No throwing people, I thought you already learn that after what happened with the Mailman, Darling stop smiling and that goes for you to girls."

The tired voice of his mother brought back the memory of the incident that happened a short time before he disappeared. Lincoln saw all his sisters trying to conceal their smiles covering their mouths or coughing in their fists, not fully aware he also had a small smile on his face.

After a short time, a couple of protests that the Loud parents silence them and some death threats from Lola towards the doctor to be careful with her big brother or else, the parents let that one slide pretending they didn't hear a thing. The Loud family 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺 got out of the room.

The doctor and the nurse let out a synchronized sigh of relief that makes Lincoln chuckles a bit knowing how his family can be sometimes.

"Ok, kiddo. I'm gonna ask you some questions and I want you to answer as best as you can, ok?"

The boy only gave a nod of understanding as a response. The doctor was pleased but also made a mental note on his silent behavior. The doctor didn't notice anything out of the ordinary when the boy was surrounded by sisters but the moment when his mother hugged he could clearly see his skin goosebumps and his smile twitch for a millisecond maybe some of the sisters and the father didn't but he knew the mother knows about it.

Lincoln knows his family wouldn't harm him but traumas don't work like that. He saw some examples in his life as a doctor. Even if they know the person is unrelated, a stranger, or even a family member they can still feel fear, disgust, and anger, start to become violent, and even have panic attacks that could be very harmful to the patient. Lincoln can control himself pretty well before hugging his mother even the doctor himself didn't saw anything wrong with his comportment. However, is definitely not gonna last they need to appoint him to a therapist.

After the quick observations on Lincoln, he made in his mind the doctor started to the examinations to see if there are more problems with his health.

Meanwhile in the waiting room

"Ohhhh we can also cook this and that and for dessert maybe we make a combination of..."

"That dessert would definitely break the sugar-high expectations of anybody! Hahaha, Get it?"

"Yeah, Molly, can you check on Becky.... Huh?..... You better be literally joking me now... She did what?!... With the..."

"Heck yeah let's do another 50 push-ups!"

"When Lincoln came home I will ask him to read me my favorite story 'The Frog and the Mud Pile' and then..."

"Excuse me?! Lincoln will read 𝘮𝘦 story and compared with that abomination you call book..."

...The waiting room was in utter chaos. The Loud family was living up to their name in this moment. Many of them were celebrating, making plans, or fighting, and of course, all of these were about Lincoln, fortunately, nobody was in the waiting room at the moment and the only person that was bothered by their noise was the receptionist that couldn't wait for her next break to come sooner.

However no good thing last forever, the family didn't notice the two policewomen entering the waiting room, one with blonde hair and the other with black hair, the receptionist was a bit surprised seeing them since she didn't know the full situation of what happened in the hospital some time ago.

"We have to meet Lincoln Loud, can you please tell us where his room is."

Complete silence, the receptionist couldn't even say something, not because of the two policewomen in front of her but...

The pressure, their stares sending arrows on their backs freezing the pair of women in uniforms and the receptionist.

The receptionist tried before to silence the Loud family, they didn't notice her in their celebrations so the poor woman gave up rather quickly knowing the reputation of the Loud family. However, with just a couple of words, the whole room was silenced and the only thing the receptionist wanted now was to go back.

Their stares were like being surrounded by hungry lions, the pressure almost made her lose power in her knees and they didn't even stare at her.

The two women didn't turn around but for a second their hands almost reached their arms strapped on their thighs because of the killing aura directed at them.

"Excuse me but what business do you have with 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘯."

The one who spoke first was Rita, she shot a quick glance at her husband and Lynn didn't need more. He put a hand on Lynn Jr shoulder ready to hold her or any daughter if comes the need.

This time the 2 policewomen turn around facing the mother and they immediately regret their action. The killing intent from the Loud sisters was big enough to almost made them reach for their guns but that was nothing compared with the aura and the fear they feel looking into the eyes of Rita Loud, they knew if they don't speak carefully it wouldn't end nicely. The blonde woman gathers her courage and spoke first.

"M-Miss we were sent here to ask Lincoln Loud for some answers involving..."

"Lincoln just escaped 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 a couple of hours ago! You can't just waltz here and..."

The one who cut the blonde woman was Luna and she looked more than ready for a fight, she didn't care if the person in front of her was a police officer, If they dare touch a single hair on their brother's head...

"We understand but we really have to..."

"I'm pretty sure you don't have to do anything. Our son is not in the state to speak with strangers, especially about what he has been through, hope you two understand this and get out of here."

This time the woman with black hair tried to reason with the family and Lynn loud cut her off. Most of the people in the room were surprised by that comportment. The usual gentle and carefree Teddy bear that was their father transformed in a second into a cold and calculated man.

Even Rita was a bit surprised by his change she saw this side of her husband before but that was just once before Lori was even born.

The two women couldn't do anything. Without the guardians' approval and without an official form from the office they were powerless in that situation, from now. Without saying more they turn around and walk towards the exit but one of them the woman with black hair stayed behind and looked directly into the eyes of Rita and Lynn Loud.

"I understand is hard, but what Lincoln possibly knows can help us to catch the culprits. We only want a couple of minutes, we will not force him to do anything. Just call us when you think is the right moment but don't forget the longer the wait the more time for the culprits to escape or do much worse."

That made the whole family pause. The sisters lost themselves in their happiness but the parents knew how grave the situation was. They just wanted to have some time to at least celebrate and enjoy for at least a short time before the situation asked for Lincoln to be in another stressful situation.

"*sigh* Understood, you are right but gave us some time. He just woke up also I want that some of us to be next to him when you ask those questions."

The policewoman could only nod in agreement and walk toward the exit where her partner was waiting for her.

The two women exiting the hospital were hit by the cold air under the still dark sky. When the automatic doors closed and they were at a safe distance. The blonde woman couldn't hold it anymore.

"I heard that Loud family was weird but that was on a whole another level! I could feel their eyes on me and I could swear that some of them were ready to actually kill me for real!"

While the woman was complaining about the scary experience the one with dark hair was just silently walking beside her while looking deeply absorbed in her thoughts. The blonde woman was looking at her partner noticing that she didn't even listen to her.

"Hey, are you listening..."

*riing* *riing*

"Sorry I have to take this call"

The woman with dark hair walk away while taking her phone out of her pocket and letting her colleague alone that was staring bewildered.

"Wha...?! For this, you pay for the beers this time!"

The brunette didn't even hear her friend, she has already accepted the call and she was at a safe distance to have a private conversation.

....

"Yes, I understand we know where he is now, is a matter of time before he will tell us what he knows, and then we can continue with the plan. I have to go I don't want my partner to be suspicious"

Said the woman in a silent voice she lowered the phone from of ear holding it in front of her.

The caller ID didn't face a name or a picture not even the phone number was showing on the screen.

"Good job, be sure to gather any information about 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯, she is as important as the boy."

After saying what he had to say the unknown person needed the call. The woman could only put the phone back in her pocket and walk towards her car, where her annoyed partner was waiting for her with her arms crossed.

Reaching the car, she opened the door and she couldn't help herself not to look at the window that lead to Lincoln's room.

Saying an apology in her heart she got up in the car and started to drive off away from the hospital.
