Everyone was shocked by Hestia's sudden transformation, and it took them a second to process it.
Hestia locked eyes with Lucian and suddenly ran towards him.
"Master!" She shouted as she jumped into the air, wrapping her arms around his neck and squashing her large breasts into his face.
Lucian almost panicked and fell over from the sudden burst of affection. The fact that Hestia was completely naked didn't help the matter either.
Ron's nose suddenly burst with blood as he got a good eye full, falling backwards while Gilly simply covered his eyes.
"Oh my." He said with a slight chuckle.
Hobgoblins, while still a monster race, took on more of a human appearance. Except for their skin colour, fangs and horns, they pretty much resembled a human, and in Hestia's case, a pretty one at that.
Lucian's face had gone bright red, and he quickly pulled his face out of Hestia's chest, pulling her away and trying not to look at her.
"Is something wrong, master? It's me, little red." She said with a large smile, reviling her sharp fangs.
"Pu-Put some clothes on!" Lucian shouted in embarrassment as her breasts were right in front of his eyes.
Lucian quickly threw his cloak at her to cover up, and she did as she was told. However, she didn't see what the problem was.
"Is that better?" She asked as she had now wrapped the cloak around her, covering her assets.
Lucian's face returned to its normal colour, and he cleared his throat, trying to regain his composer.
Ron had also recovered but was still red in the face. Gilly crossed his arms over his chest and started stroking his chin as he examined her in more detail.
"Truly amazing." He said as he did a complete circle around her.
"I have never seen anything like it. I mean, I was expecting her to become fully grown once you gave her a name, but to fully evolve into a hobgoblin is amazing."
Hestia put her hands on her hips and gave a cocky smirk. Though as she did, the cloak opened, showing her nude body once again.
"I'm a hobgoblin shamen, actually!" She said with enthusiasm.
Ron's nose exploded again as he flew back from seeing her naked body, while Lucian went red again, shouting at her to cover up.
He had only seen naked girls on the internet before and never in person. Regardless looking at Hestia felt like he was looking at his little sister or something and didn't seem to embarrass him as much as it would if it were a stranger.
Gilly was very impressed and nodded his head as he used his magic sense.
"My... Indeed you are!"
Lucian could see the number above her head was at seven already and quickly checked to see what her stats were saying.
Name - Hestia.
Class - Hobgoblin shamen. Slave owned by Lucian.
Skill's - Blessed by fire - Shamen blood.
Rank - 7/20 - Steel rank.
Stats - Strength 7/10 - Speed 5/10 - Intelligence 7/10.
Magic 4/8 - Fire - Wind - Dark - Lightning.
"She is this strong already?" Lucian thought as he looked over her stats.
"When a monster evolves, they achieve new power and strength faster than any other race. That is why humankind fears them such.
A goblin that evolves into a hobgoblin can increase its strength by up to tenfold and gain access to new skills and abilities without training for them. Whereas a human would have to learn those skills and train to hone them over time." The demon lord said, responding to Lucian's thoughts.
Lucian snapped back to the real world as Hestia wrapped her arms around his, snuggling up to him.
"Ah, hold on for a second. I might have some spare clothes in the back," Gilly said as he went off to look for them.
Ron had recovered again and held his nose for the time being while Hestia simply held onto Lucian's arm, happy as could be.
Gilly soon returned and handed Hestia some clothes to change into, of course. She was about to do it right there and then, but Lucian was quick to act as he didn't think Ron could bear to lose any more blood.
Hestia had now gotten dressed. The clothes were a worn and straightforward tunic and pants, but they would do the job, for the time being, meaning that Lucian could put his cloak back on.
"I still can't believe just how magnificent she is. Why I have never seen a hobgoblin shamen in all my life." Gilly said.
Hestia smiled and pumped her fist into the air.
"That's because master is so strong!" She shouted just before Lucian hit her on the head, making her go quiet.
"Now, don't go getting a big head just because you got bigger." He said, feeling like her older brother.
Hestia rubbed her head as she complained like a child. But Lucian ignored her as he thanked Gilly for making the magic contract.
"Please, lad. It was my honour! You saved my life. After all, it's the least I could do!" He said with a big laugh.
Lucian nodded and pushed Hestia's head down to say thank you.
"Don't be rude, Hestia." He said as she complained but said thank you. She may have gotten bigger, but she was still a child at heart.
"Oh, that's right, don't forget this," Gilly said as he handed Lucian a piece of paper.
"That is proof of ownership over Hestia here. If you place your ID crystal onto it, the crystal will store the document, so you don't lose it." He said.
Lucian nodded and did just that, watching as the magic crystal sucked the document in for safekeeping.
With that all done, Lucian bid Gilly farewell and took Hestia and Ron back outside onto the street.
Gilly walked them out and bid them farewell, closing the door as they left. He turned around to look at Colin, who was stood behind the desk.
"I want that monster," Gilly said as an evil glint appearing in his eye.
Colin nodded.
"Would you like me to kill them, Lord Gilbert?" Colin asked.
"Do what you must. But I want that goblin."
Meanwhile...
Lucian had decided he needed to get some gear for Hestia and replace the rags she was currently wearing.
Ron agreed, and he took them to the most affordable place he could think of.
"Behold the dragon's tooth, forge!" Ron shouted as he waved his arm, showing them the shop.
Hestia clapped her hands as she was impressed by the giant dragon's tooth that was hung above the entrance, clearly what it was named after.
Lucian was also impressed at the size of the tooth, it must have been twice the size of him, and he could only imagine the size of such a monster with teeth like that.
"Are dragons really that big?" Lucian asked the demon inside him.
A moment passed before he answered, though.
"Some are..." He said, not giving much away.
Lucian didn't bother to ask him anything else and walked into the shop with the others. Inside was a large older man. He stood at around 6 feet tall with long grey hair that was tied back in a ponytail. Lucian could also see that he only had one leg, and the other was a wooden post from his knee down.
The older man turned to greet them, not stopping what he was doing, though.
"Welcome." He said as he continued to sharpen the sword in his hand.
"Hello," Lucian said as he took a good look around.
"I tell you, Lucian. This place is highly underrated. Old Tommy here is one of the best blacksmiths in town!" Ron said.
The older man realised who it was when he heard Ron talking and he stopped sharpening his blade.
"So your back from your quest already?" He said, standing up to greet them.
"I was sure you would die this time." He said, not joking.
Ron remembered the Griffin had killed kal, and his positive energy suddenly disappeared for a moment.
"What's the matter, lad? lose a friend?" Tommy said as he crossed his arms.
Ron tried not to be too down about it as it came with the territory of being an adventure. Still, it hurt.
"Well, what can I do for you today?" Tommy said, changing the subject.
"Right.." Ron said, trying to change his attitude.
"I need some gear for my friend here," Lucian said, jesting to Hestia who's eyes were sparkling at all of the shiny weapons on the walls.
"A hobgoblin, eh? Not seen one of them in a while." Tommy said as he looked Hestia up and down.
"You'll be wanting something light so she can get around fast. After all, she's more suited to the magical arts than closes combat." He said after reading her.
Lucian was impressed and tried to see what the number above the blacksmiths head was.
But for some reason, Lucian could only see a question mark, and when he tried to look closer, a small message saying locked popped up.
"How strange..." He thought as he snapped out of it.
"Yes, that's right." Lucian then said in response to the blacksmith's statement.
"Alright, let's see what I've got here." He said as he walked over to his desk.
"First off, how much coin have you got?" He asked.
"70 coppers," Lucian said.
Tommy sighed.
"I'll see what I can do." He said as he went to the back and started rooting around.
Not long after, he came back out and placed a worn iron dagger onto the table along with what looked like a black padded leather sports bra. Next to that, he placed some black leather trousers and brown sandals.
"This is the best I can do for such little coin..." He said, looking the gear over.
Lucian had expected as much and also looked the equipment over.
"The iron dagger was definitely second hand and in need of some TLC. However, the leather gear seemed to be in good order.
"Alright, ill take it," Lucian said as he turned to look at Hestia.
To his and the surprise of the others, she was holding the largest, heaviest club in the entire shop.
"Master, I want this one!" She said as she swung the thing around with ease.
Tommy couldn't believe his eyes.
"My... Looks like you've got yourself one hell of a slave there." He said with a whistle.
"Tell you what. I'll throw in a new dagger instead of this iron one for the same price." Tommy said, seeming in a better mood all of a sudden.
"Why?" Lucian said, unable to hold his curiosity.
"Let's just call it innovative business." The older man said.
"Alright, deal," Lucian said as he handed over the coin for the gear.
Tommy nodded and extended his hand.
"I look forward to seeing you again." He said.
Lucian shook his hand and noticed his powerful grip. Tommy noticed it too and smiled.
"I'll definitely be seeing you again." He said with a smile.
"If you want to stay alive, kid, then stick with this one here. He's a survivor." Tommy said, looking at Ron.
Ron gave a nervous laugh and rubbed the back of his head.
"Yes, sir!"
With that done, Hestia got changed into her new clothes. She also strapped her new steel dagger to her hip before walking back out into the shop.
Naturally, she had started to get changed in the middle of the shop, causing Lucian to scold her, making her go to the changing room.
"One last thing before you go." Tommy then said.
Lucian looked at the man to see what he wanted.
"Take this." He said as he threw Hestia a black hood.
"People in this town don't like seeing monsters walk the streets, even if they are slaves. That hood should help a little, at least." Tommy said.
Lucian nodded and then thanked him.
"Be seeing you." He then said as he walked back out onto the street with Ron and Hestia.
Lucian couldn't help wonder why people around here were so sensitive to seeing monsters when there was a shop that sold them.
"So where to now?" Ron asked, breaking his train of thought.
Lucian shook his coin purse, feeling how empty it was after getting that gear for Hestia.
"Well, after that, we only have ten copper coins." He said.
Ron nodded as he crossed his arms.
"Well, it looks like it's back to work then. Let's get to the guild and find you a quest!"
"Will there be food there?" Hestia asked as she grabbed Lucian's arm, squashing it against her chest.
Lucian went a little red but tried to play it cool.
"I swear all you ever think about is food." He said, getting a laugh from Ron.
Hestia raised her hand into the air.
"I want food!" She shouted at the top of her lungs.
"Alright, alright!" Lucian said.
"Let's go back and get some." He said as he started walking towards the adventures guild at full speed, making Ron and Hestia have to run after him to keep up.
"Hey, wait for me, master!" Hestia shouted after him while Ron also chased after him to keep up.
