Promise!

Min Jun let out a hearty laugh before he moved towards Young Jae slowly. This time Young Jae's heart fluttered, and he did not even bother with any thought about Jo Rim or Ki Hoon Joo.

He leaned into Min Jun's warm touch. The gentle yet firm hold on the back of his head anchored him to firmly. The tender touch on his left cheek soothed every bit of nervousness in him.

Young Jae forgot everything but the boy in front of him.

Min Jun felt the calling Young Jae as a fox was perfect. He was like a fox spirit that would tempt you to do unspeakable things even without doing anything. The worst aspect about it was Young Jae was not even aware of how much of a tempter he was. 

Min Jun finally realised the feelings of how his friends used to talk about being a love-struck fool after experiencing love at first sight. 

 Even though Min Jun wants to go ahead and do as he pleases, he knew Young Jae wouldn't appreciate it after the heat of the moment. The twins also entrusted him to take care of their sick cousin and not take advantage of the poor guy. Above all, the chance of baby-doll killing him for various reasons like breaking Henry's heart, taking advantage of the guy who became a friend to her in the last few days and most of all for kissing Young Jae when he hasn't broken things off fully with Henry.

It would be unfair to all if he acted on his whim and wish. 

With that thought, he decided to hold back and move to his original plan A. No matter how much plan b - diving into the arms of the guy he likes and ravishing him sounded like a blissful plan, he was determined to follow plan A - woo Young Jae properly that he takes the initiatives in the future. Everything will happen according to Young Jae's comfort.

"Let me promise you. I will become worthy enough for you. For us. Will you give me time and chance for it?" Min Jun uttered the promise quietly but still wanted to ask the man how pulls his heartstrings.

Young Jae lost himself in the soft touches that comfort him. He had no idea what was uttered to him as his IQ decided to drop down to let him be comfortable in the arm of the familiar-stranger.

Somehow Young Jae uttered another adorable "Huh?????" as a response.

Min Jun silently laughing at the clueless Young Jae who was lost in the bliss of being held. 

Min Jun gently placed his forehead on Young Jae with a smile.

"As long as you will have me in my life, I will always hold you tenderly and cherish you. I will do everything in my ability to be the best for you. But wait for me. I will come back to you as soon as possible." Min Jun explained what he meant.

Young Jae tried too hard to listen to Min Jun's words without getting distracted this time but only to get confused. "Why do you promise me? I don't understand."

Instead of answering the questions, all Min Jun did was lean in and rub his nose silently on Young Jae's nose gently. It was his promise. He was determined to hold his end of the bargain so that he would be worthy enough to chase the fragile man in his arms.

Closing his eyes, Min Jun cherished the moment as much as he can.

Young Jae felt warm all over his body. He was red from blushing, but he did not even know his body's reaction to the young man. His ears, cheeks, neck were red, spreading to his chest hidden under the thin hospital robe. Min Jun felt his throat dry as he held the sight of alluring the beauty. 

Young Jae did not register a word, but he asked the first thing that came to his mind. "What about Henry?"

Min Jun moved away when he heard the question. Young Jae disliked as he missed the warmth he felt the minute back. Young Jae regretted his words. It sounded like he was jealous when he was not. 

"I felt nothing for him even after being with him for almost a year. Do you think it would change now? Be assured. I have only you in my eyes." Min Jun's head was gearing up as made plans to severe all the unnecessary ties he got himself into because of his unruly lifestyle.

"Who wants to be the only one in your eyes? Stop with your imagination." Young Jae riled up at the audacity of the man. 'Just because I leaned in your touch does not mean you can come to conclusions. I will never be anyone's stupid toy anymore. I will never love anyone.'

Min Jun was amused looking at the fox baring its tiny claw threateningly. "You finally got your bearing back. Good. I meant every word I said. I am a man of my words. Remember my promise."

A voice interrupted them from the door. "What promise?"

"That's between me and your cousin Hyung. You will know it in due time." Min Jun answered as he smiled at Moon Chin Hae, who entered the room alone.

Min Jun frowned. "Where is baby-doll?"

Young Jae sighed. "I don't know. Doctor Ro was discussing a few things. After that, she was lost in thoughts. So we went to the garden for a while. She was lost in thoughts and looked very worried. She asked me to check up on you guys and let her be alone for a while."

Min Jun stood up from the bed.

"I will see if she needs anything." With that, Min Jun left the room without a second glance.

For Min Jun, nothing comes before baby-doll. Not even himself.
