"Where were you? We looked everywhere for you today after school." Asked Lauren as Jacob and I arrived at the table. 

"We went to have some ice-cream," I said as I sat on my chair, Jacob started filling his plate with pasta as we all did too.

"So now you're skipping school for ice-cream?" asked Lauren with a raised brow.

"Well it's all Jacob's fault," I said pointing at him.

"What is my fault?" asked Jacob curious clearly not knowing what we were talking about.

"You made me skip school," I said with a frown on my face.

"Yeah I did, I wanted to spend some time with my lovely mate," he said as he lifted his hand to caress my face which turned red, I just don't feel comfortable with these things in front of people.

"Anyway Melanie hates history so it was a win-win thing." He said with a smile going back to his meal.
