But the raised hair on his neck spoke volumes of its nature. He continued moving back until he was halfway up the hill and only then he turned around.

"It was fighting something...best to stay out of its way. Already have too many problems of my own to deal with," he whispered to himself looking at the strangely normal view of the sky.
