New Year and New Resolve

Demon Mommy: "If I may explain it @Sword Princess-san, Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration by billions of people around the world."

Demon Sword Muramasa: "So it's like celebrating the birth of important people in winter? Similar to birthday but only specified to certain people or groups, huh. Is there anything involving cooking or eating at Christmas?"

King of Knight: "Why yes. People always have much variety of foods and drinks when celebrating Christmas; a group of people would come to their acquaintance's house to celebrate it together. It's similar to a party because it's an important day to some religion-related with Jesus Christ. After all, he is worshipped as a god of some religion out there."

Bloodsucker Black Serpent: "Christmas is important and becomes the holiday that everyone can have, but we shouldn't forget that @Queen of Sweets-san already uploaded some of 'how to' tutorial files in the chat group. Please take a look at it when you're free or feel to read it."

Demon Sword Muramasa: "Me too. I want him to give me a new cooking technique or sword. Sadly in my world, we don't have Santa or Christmas."

Eleonora True Soulmate: "I don't need Santa to give me something I want. Eleonora is already enough for me. I just want to spend my time being lovey-dovey with her more and maybe have her babies so I can become a mother and family."

December is coming to an end, and January would replace it. This means that the new year will come, and people will leave the old year; they will celebrate the new year with new resolve. Many people have that kind of mindset, but the rest sometimes do not share the same idea with them because they probably still have to fulfill their previous year's resolve; they have to deal with that first and come with the new ones.

But Eleonora Pendragon has a new resolve in the new year since she has already done with her previous ones. She also wants to improve herself, mainly her behavior and personality, to become a better person in the future. She keeps thinking about that when she travels to another world and meets Aletia and others, Eleonora lacks at certain parts despite how strong or overpowered she has, which is a lot. Most of them are powerful than the original ones, or some are insanely powerful.

Christmas has already passed, and New Year also happened. Many people in Japan surround and fill many shrines and temples available in many areas, including Eleonora and her family. Her lovers also brought some of their families and friends to gather.

Sakura with her family and Nadeshiko's friends. Sonoka and her friends are also alumni of her culinary school since her parents passed away. For Chiyuki, her parents currently work overseas. They cannot go home to celebrate the New Year with her, but the brown-haired woman is already used to that and just behaving like usual as she is happy to spend her time with Eleonora and her family.

And Hotaru is coming along with her family, which happily accepts Eleonora's parents' invitation. Keine and most of Seven Prodigies' members are orphans, so they won't come with their families, but nonetheless, they spend their New Year with Eleonora and others. They also do not forget about the Tortus' group and Eleonora's four guests at her house.

After celebrating New Year in the temple, Eleonora and the group then went to her house. They came and played with each other, whether talking or anything since the Pendragon's house is large and can contain many people; approximately 100 people and up to 500 people since the size is quite huge, and so is the garden they have.

Despite having only three family members, excluding Merlin and the four guests, the size of their house is quite extravagant, and they did that since both Theodore and Yuuka have already predicted that Eleonora would have a lot of lovers and children in the future. Because of their field's vast size, there is technically some empty zone prepared for building Eleonora's own house, in case she intended to do that.

In the meantime, before New Year, Eleonora also instructed the whole staff members of Amagi Brilliant Park she currently managed and owned. With only a week or so, the park has already opened and become entirely different from the previously filthy, unmaintained, and disgusting-looking park turned to clean, well-maintained, and beautiful-looking that can attract many people to come, as guests or customers of her amusement park.

Latifa and Isuzu, who saw that smiled happily and bowed thankfully with full gratitude towards Eleonora since she is basically their savior and has succeeded in bringing the amusement park back to its glory. Although the young bluenette is still unsure if she can call it a success since the park has not been re-opened for a month. Until it reaches a month after being re-opened, Eleonora can have the actual result and decide if it is successful based on her evaluation.

She hopes the whole re-opening plan is a success so the entire staff won't be worried anymore about themselves. Eleonora can also make further plans for the amusement park if that happens. She was planning to open some branches of Amagi Brilliant Park in some cities or towns after all.

Also, with them being filled and crowded with guests, the citizen of Maple Land can survive since they can gather the "fun energy" they need to live. Although Eleonora still hasn't figured out the proper name for that energy since it sounds vague to the young bluenette, since even her [Observe] couldn't find anything of it.

Nonetheless, she is happy that she can help Latifa and her citizen. Although she did it for business purposes at first, she has new harem members from that. Eleonora herself and decided to let it go for now.

They can get to know each other so well by gathering many people who have relations with Eleonora on this important day. Also, the young bluenette invites some people like Kasumigaoka Utaha and her friends, including a young man with a plain face and straight black hair covering his forehead and light blue eyes.

The tall and beautiful slim-figured woman who has the pen name Kasumi Utako has invited four girls and one boy. The first girl has straight long shoulder-length chestnut-brown hair and dark brown eyes. She has been closer to the young man and somewhat has dust of pink on her cheeks when Eleonora's eyes meet with that girl.

The second is a beautiful, petite girl with long, straight blonde hair with blue ribbons tied back in her head. Her eyes are light blue, and she has ashen skin. From the first glance, Eleonora could already tell that she was the tsundere-type from the vibe she had given to her.

The third girl is tall with short and wavy purple hair and dark blue eyes. She looks like someone who has a laid-back personality, and Eleonora could see it clearly, but it seems the purple-haired girl knows manners as she didn't do anything weird… yet.

The fourth and last girl is a girl with Burgundy colored hair that is at least shoulder length in a twin tail fashion and two white flowers hair clips on each side, and she has red-brownish eyes. She looks younger in her group.

Eleonora then waved her hands towards Utaha, and the latter responded with waves from her hands and smiled across her face when the brown-eyed woman saw the young bluenette. She shows a lovely smile that is the same one she did to her former crush, and that man is the plan face young man within her group.

"Kasumigaoka-san. How are you doing these days? Sorry if I do not keep in contact with you for a few days. I have been busy and couldn't spare my few free times with you."

Seeing the apologetic face of Eleonora, the author of Koisuru Metronome with Kasumi Utako as her pen name, just waves off to Eleonora and Utaha's newly crush about that with a bit of panic since she knew how busy Eleonora's schedule is, although she is younger than her.

Yeah. Utaha found out that her newly crush is so young compared to her despite how mature she is and her appearance defying it. She is surprised, but afterward can accept that and doesn't mind since the current laws of Japan have already changed completely, so she still has the chance to be her girlfriend or lover. She is also surprised that the harem exists since Eleonora told her about it when they called each other.

"It's no problem, and please call me Utaha, Leo-kun. We are friends and not strangers to each other anymore, isn't it? It would be weird if we still called each other by our surname."

Utaha's friends were shocked when watching the sharp-tongue woman they usually knew become so friendly like this. Yes, they were in good friendship, but it took them many times to get closer, yet the dark-haired woman with a slim figure just responded like that. Except for the only man, anyone in her group could see the apparent expression of affection that Utaha's shown towards Eleonora.

She seemed happy and overflowing with that feeling. It was so different when with her former crush, the man named Tomoya Aki.

"Are these your friends, the Blessing Software's members you kept talking about, Utaha-san?"

Utaha nodded in response and shocked her friends when Eleonora knew about them. From its sounds, the Kasumi Utako introduced themselves to Eleonora about their circle, which is turned to a small-timed company that works on VNs and the likes to someone like the young bluenette is quite surprising. Still, the young owner of Amagi Brilliant Park didn't bother by that.

In fact, she is pretty interested but a bit disappointed at the company leader that has no talent or whatnot to keep it together. Although Utaha tried to convince her crush when describing the young man, Eleonora already knows he is not suited to be the company's leader. Not only lack of experience, lack of talents, and knowledge also lacking despite knowing about otaku-related factors.

"Yes. This flat-chested girl with blonde hair is Sawamura Spencer Eriri or better yet known as Kashiwagi Eri from the work of Egoistic Lily. She is the former members of our circle and including me too."

Eriri, who heard the introduction of herself being told like that by Utaha, was shocked and glared at her with a hateful expression that made her friends and Eleonora sweatdropped at the weird way to introduce her friends.

"Utako, you bi—Ahem. You scoundrel! What was that introduction?!"

"Oh my. Isn't that true? Why would you be upset about it anyway? Should I tell her fabricated lies and cause her to misunderstand about you?"

"Guuuh… but should you tell her like that?! You can do it more nicely, aren't you?"

Utaha just giggled and smiled smugly while glancing at Eriri.

"I'm sorry, but that is what I usually do when introducing friends. After all, best friends are those who insult each other but deeply care, right? Everyone has already known this common knowledge."

Cannot refute that; Eriri just gritted her teeth in frustration. Eleonora just laughed inwardly and awkwardly when witnessing their behavior towards each other. Almost like cat and mouse as they look like they have some sort of rivalry.

But to clear up the misunderstood, the blonde-haired petite woman cleared her throat and re-introduced herself to Eleonora.

"Ahem. My name is Sawamura Spencer Eriri, and thank you for inviting us to join your family this New Year. I apologize for her rude behavior. Nice to meet you, um…."

Eleonora just waves off her hands to Eriri with a small smile.

"No problem. It's okay, and please don't be too formal. We are not at a formal party or anything anyway. You can call me Eleonora; my name is Eleonora Pendragon, and nice to meet you too."

For some reason, the girls' cheeks in that group feel hot and heating up when seeing Eleonora's smile. In their hearts, deep down inside, they think that a tiny spark of certain feelings was ignited, while the only male of that group is just confused seeing his friends like that.

"A-Ah! Yes, thank you very much."

Eriri fidgeted and looked down shyly as she felt embarrassed all of a sudden. Then Utaha continued the introduction and went to the shoulder-length chestnut-brown-haired girl who stayed close to the plain-faced young man.

"And she is Kato Megumi or currently Aki Megumi, the Assistant Director of Blessing Software also the wife of Aki Tomoya-san. Besides her are the Executive Producer, Director, and Scenario Writer of Blessing Software and also Megumi's husband, Aki Tomoya-san."

As she was introduced, Megumi bowed in polite manners to Eleonora.

"Yes. Nice to meet you, Pendragon-san. Thank you for inviting us."

"Thank you very much and pleased to meet you, Pendragon-san!"

Eleonora simply nodded at the husband and wife pair when they introduced themselves like that.

"Nice to meet you too; I appreciate that you willingly accept my invitation. Although the way I say it looks like I invite all of you in some formal event or sort which actually not."

"Please don't worry about that, Pendragon-san. My husband and I are grateful for that since this is a really wonderful event. Despite not formal, it somehow has the vibe of being one."

The young bluenette blinked, and she saw the agreed nods from Megumi's friends. They also agree that it has the vibe of a formal event or party, although it's actually not because of its extravagance. Although something on this scale isn't really that big deal for Eleonora's family because they were rich.

She then chuckled and nodded too since she already understands what Megumi means.

"I see. Thank you for the honest compliment."

"No problem. Kasumigaoka-san."

Megumi turned to Utaha and gave her a look. The young woman with shoulder-length dark hair nodded as if she knew what Kato Megumi meant and spoke to Eleonora while her hands were gesturing to another girl who hadn't yet been introduced to her.

"This girl with wavy purple hair is Hyoudou Michiru; she is the Music Composer of Blessing Software."

"Yeah! Nice to meet you, Pendragon-san. I also have a band called Icy Tail, so if you are free, please visit our concert and hear our songs!"

She says that with a cheerful tone and bright smile, which makes Eleonora giggle and nod at her being like that. She knew a little about that band but didn't think that someone like Michiru was related to Utaha and was one of her friends.

"I'll try to catch up with any of your songs and pleased to meet you, Hyoudou-san."

"Ah… you can just call me Michiru, Pendragon-san. I'm not used to people calling me with my surname,"

"I see, then you can also call me Eleonora, Michiru-san. I may not expert at music or knowledgeable in that field, but I can give you some advice to improve some of it when I listen to your songs."

"Thanks, that would be helpful."

Eleonora simply nods to easy-going and cheerful Michiru, who are happy hearing that, while there is also a tint of red on her cheeks, indicating that she was pleased about that. She doesn't know why, but her feeling made her comfortable and warm.

"And the last is the youngest member of Blessing Software, the illustrator Hashima Izumi. Her older brother is the Producer of Blessing Software."

With a big smile and cheerful yet polite tone while she bowed slightly.

"Thank you, Utaha-san! My name is Hashima Izumi, and the illustrator of Blessing Software's second generation or precisely two point five. I am still new, but I try my best to help my senpais and the Blessing Software. Nice to meet you, Pendragon-san."

"Nice to meet you too, and please call me Eleonora, Izumi-san. We can skip the formality and be casual. There is no need to distance ourselves since I want to be friends with all of you. Is that okay with all of you?"

Eleonora asked that with a smile, and they are nods agreed with that. Seeing that, the young bluenette felt a bit happy since she got another friend or, in this case, another candidate of her harem members, excluding the young man called Aki Tomoya, of course since she's not bisexual or even straight.

She is currently aware of the stares given to her by the Utaha's group of females, which made her a bit uncomfortable since they had blushes on their cheeks when they stared at Eleonora, including Megumi, who already has a husband.

'No, Megumi. You have Tomoya-kun. You also don't swing that way. Tomoya-kun is my husband, and I can't have this kind of feeling; I can't love someone else than him.'

She slightly shakes her head and tries to reject that kind of thought inside her mind. The same can be said with Eriri, Michiru, and even Izumi. They have love-struck eyes, and the blushes made it more obvious, except to someone so dense like Aki Tomoya; he doesn't have any clue about that.

'No, no, no! Eriri, don't make yourself turn in the wrong way! B-But… Eleonora-san is gorgeous and handsome; she looked cool more than Tomoya. Maybe even outshine him… but you still love him! But… he already chose Megumi… maybe I should move on as Utako said to me.'

Eriri glanced at Eleonora, who smiled at her before averting her eyes because she was embarrassed and shy. She even covers her face with her hands. That kind of smile is cheating, and she cannot help but develop a crush on Eleonora.

'W-Whoah… what the heck is wrong with me? Why did I feel like this? Did I suddenly love Eleonora-san? But we just met! I don't even know her before we see each other yet… I get this kind of feeling. But I liked it… maybe this is my first time feeling like this.'

Michiru has smiled fondly when thinking about that. While Megumi, Eriri, and Michiru develop that feeling towards Eleonora—there is no exception even to someone like Izumi, the youngest of the Blessing Software's group.

She also began to develop romantic and love feeling towards Eleonora.

'Is this… love? Tomoya-senpai always said that word whenever he introduced me to romantic anime and manga. But he also said that romantical love is only applied to a male and female couple, but both Eleonora-san and I are women—so is it, romantical love?'

Izumi is confused since romantical love she ever heard and knew is only applied to male and female couples. She never heard about a love between girls or things like lesbian or yuri. She lacks some knowledge since Tomoya only tells her general knowledge.

'But I don't hate this! Maybe I have to ask Tomoya-senpai about it.'

She smiled enthusiastically as she had already decided what she would do about this. Izumi is curious about the feeling of love she has for Eleonora and wants to know more about it, so she will ask her Otaku Master, who is an expert at this kind of thing.
