CHAPTER 29

Genesis's POV

"Oh my God! Did you see that? How did he do that?" I quickly re-adjusted the volume on the macbook. "Go flash!" Fist-bumping the air. "Zoom can't beat you. Lord, Iris is so pretty. Are they together in real life?"

"No." Keegan yelled back from the shower.

"They look like they would make a great couple. Their chemistry is just mind-blowing." I opined, smiling at the thought.

"Damn, Chemistry and I just never vibed but I think it was my then chemistry high school teacher that was the actual problem though."

I tipped my head back in laughter. "Oh God Keegan." Hiccuping. "That isn't what I'm talking about here and you are screaming in there. The whole world can hear you."

I heard his deep laughter from the bathroom, drowned out by the water gushing in full force.

Scrunching my face in thought, I realised, "I've never heard a name like Cisco."

              "It's short for Francisco, Genny."

              "Oh, that makes sense."

"Babe, you sure you don't wanna get in the shower with me? There's enough room for two you know. Enough space to sit on my face."

"No! You get done showering alone and then you get out...alone."

"You don't wanna get freaky with me? C'mon, I would wanna get freaky with me."

I scolded. "Keegan! I'm trying to watch a movie here which is by the way really good. Ooh, I think I know this guy. Uhm...Ronny. He was the guy in The Tomorrow people. He played the lead male character in it. I remember."

              "You watched that?"

"Yeah, Jace made me watch it but I'm glad I did. Ugh! I was so hungry for the next season."

"It's been years. I doubt it's ever gonna be released."

I pouted. "Not good."

The door to the bathroom creaked open. I kept my eyes glued to the laptop screen, highly intrigued by the series playing.

"I've got an online test in three hours."

"Really?" I glanced up at him and in that moment, the white towel tied lowly around his v-shaped waist dropped to coil around his feet.

I jerked back, stunned. Mouth agape, eyes wide, my hand instantly reached up to cover my eyes from the sight.

"Christ! Keegan!" I couldn't help the scream that escaped my lungs. "Why did you do that? You're naked!"

A bark of laughter emanated from the front of the room.

              "Put something on."

              "You sure?"

I begged. "Put something on."

              "You sure you want that?"

"Oh God! Yes. You are...in your birthday suit. Of course I want that!"

"But I want something else." I felt the bed dip.

I complained. "Keegan! The movie is playing without me."

"Open your eyes." Tingles shot through my arm the moment I felt his light touch on my wrists.

             "You're...you're...with clothes?"

"Open your eyes Genny." He tugged at my arm, prying my hands away from my face. I kept my eyes closed, scared to let them open.

"Hey." His warm breath touched my lips. I felt hot chills cascade down my spine. His hand firmly gripped the side of my face, caressing the skin with his soft palms. I could hear my heart beat faster in response to him.

I rasped. "Keegan."

             "I wasn't naked." He whispered.

Slowly but surely, my eyes began to pry open. In seconds, I came face to face with a pair of heated ocean blue eyes staring down at me with so much passion and desire embedded within. Making a slow trail down the ripples of his huge, protruding arbs and defined muscles, I was relieved to see a thin material hanging low on his hips. Trapped between his bent knees, he slanted his head over mine.

"I want to learn every inch of your body Genny." He confessed in an undertone. Tenderly, his mouth moved over mine. "I want to see you naked. I want to kiss your soul and take your breath away. I want all of you." It was only his thumb grazing slowly along the lower corner of my lips but it was as if that stopped and the sweep of his thumb below my mouth took for all of eternity. I could hardly breathe. Even when he dragged it behind my neck, his touch lingered. Everywhere he touched, the places he travelled on my body, he left his mark.

             "Keegan, I...."

"I want to kiss you up and down your spine on the back of your neck. I want to kiss your lips as my hands runs through your hair. I want to feel your body tremble against mine as we get tangled up in the sheets overwhelmed by each other. I want to make love to you." My breath caught in my throat.

My speech turned difficult. "Keegan."

He took my mouth in his and dived in deep. So deep that I didn't know who was breathing for who. His mouth and tongue tasted like like warm honey and I was overwhelmed by the taste...the taste of him. My pulse was thundering so loud and my senses were exploding. I abandoned the laptop and wounded my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me. He kissed me harder, breath huffing into my mouth. It felt amazing. I moaned before I could stop myself.

Drawing back a little, he mumbled against my lips. "The first time I kissed you Genny, I was totally hooked. I'm addicted to you. To all of you."

My brain was in a jumbled mess. I could scarcely think of something right to say to him. My breath hitched and my eyes rolled to the back of my head as he attacked my neck in hot, needy kisses. Gently pushing me back so that my spine met the sheets, he nestled his self in between my thighs. My skirt rode up my thighs to bunch around my hips and his hands explored the skin, coursing electricity through me like currents.

As hard as iron, I felt it poke the center of my groin from the confines of his boxer briefs.

I panicked. "I...We can't do this Keegan. I'm...not...I'm not ready for..."

A soft kiss graced my lips making me eat my words. His blue eyes penetrated my brown ones. "We won't do anything you ain't comfortable with." He smiled. "Is that okay?" I nodded in agreement.

My thighs and stomach clenched as his lips began to run over my neck. The bulge in his pants began to grind against my sex. I quivered and closed my eyes for some recuperation of control. I harked back to two months ago when we dry-humped for the first time and just there, I realised how quickly time had flown by since I said yes to being his girlfriend.

I couldn't control the moan spilling from my lips as he worked his hips against my center.

Slow and steady, "It - it feels amazing." I managed to say in between moans as my hands roamed his bare back of muscles in pleasure.

I felt him smile against my skin. He flicked his tongue over my earlobe, teasing the sensitive skin with his teeth. A hand vacated my cheek and began to drag down, creating a narrow pathway through my sides till it connected with my ass. He squeezed. I gasped sharply.

"God! I wanna spill into you so bad." He admitted, growling into my ear. "I love you so fucking much." I hissed softly when his teeth nipped at my shoulder. My eyes fluttered closed involuntarily as he went on thrusting over me.

Suddenly, the door whooshed open.

"Keegan, what about that stuff I asked you to explain to me in....oh my God!"

At an instant, I flinched at the intrusion. Immediately, he unlocked our lips and withdrew from me, twisting to find Erika standing in surprise mode at the entryway.

Oh God

Pushing himself up, he strode over to his closet and yanked a t-shirt out. I quickly reached for the bed cover to hide myself in embarrassment.

"Knock Erika. You should have knocked." He complained.

"Excuse me? How was I supposed to know you were in your room fucking your...your whatever she is." I heard her spite.

"You know what she is to me."

"Whatever. I'll be downstairs. Meet me there. You gon' explain something to me before this stupid test we really don't need to take but would fail if we don't kicks off."

               "Dario ain't dead you know."

"And have him trash-talk me every five seconds? No way. Downstairs Keegan. I freaking hope I would be able to erase this from my head." I heard her say before banging the door close. I didn't need to think it twice. I immediately made a dart for the door the moment she was gone in a bid to escape the embarrassment I felt.

Before I could reach the gigantic white coloured door, he yanked me back by my arm. I landed against his chest with a puff of air.

"You're running away." I turned my head, avoiding his bright blue eyes that always felt like it was searching my soul everytime they pinned me.

               "No..I...I just..."

               "You are. Look at me."

               "Huh?"

"C'mon, look at me." I connected our eyes.

"I love you. Don't forget that."

I sighed, nodding slowly. "Okay."

"I wanna take you out tonight. You gon' be free?"

I beamed at him. "Yes."

He smirked and dipped his head lower to trap my lips in a slow, heated kiss. I fisted my hands on the front of his shirt, angling my head to have more of him but quickly remembered I had to leave if he was going to study.

Craning my head to look up at him, I gave in to the shy smile that chose to form on my lips, "Goodluck on your test."

He leaned down and pecked my lips again. "I've got all the luck I need."

My heart swelled. I giggled, hiding my face into the front of his chest. He chuckled at my reaction and took my chin between his thumb and pointer finger.

I puckered my lips, "So you'll be using your laptop?"

"Nah, I'll make do with the pad."

I squealed with joy and hurriedly ran to the bed. The abandoned device was resting by the edge. I hastily grabbed the device and dashed for the door but not before planting a chaste kiss on his lips in appreciation. His deep rumbles of laughter followed me out.

Rushing through the long hallway, I swerved to the direction of the stairs with the laptop positioned under my arm. Curled as some sweet cat in peaceful dream mode, I skipped, running down the long flight of stairs like a little girl would run over to a bowl of candy waiting for her where it ended. Barely reaching the last stair, I almost tumbled forward but held onto the banister tightly when I saw him.

I saw him standing over the deep freezer with a bottled water in his black-gloved hands and a straw in which he sipped from as his Adam's apple bopped up and down. I saw his usual black hoodie draped over his head thus covering half of his profile like it usually did. I saw the leather jacket he always wore around but wasn't enough to deter my immediate recognition of him. I saw him turn over the pages of an opened book as his eyes danced around the letters in blue-ink writing.

Memories of the first night we slept together broke down the gateway to my mind. It had been two months since I gave up my innocence to him and two months since he chose to avoid me completely.

Just like I knew and wanted him to, his eyes cut across the lounge and landed on me. One would have missed it if he or she wasn't paying close attention. I noticed his body fidget a tiny bit on noticing my presence. His eyelids heavy and bags present underneath his eyes. Eyes, immobile like the rest of his face rested on me. I held his gaze for a moment. In his eyes was a tiredness, a need for nurture and a chance to rest. It had me wondering how long he had been up studying for.

Just as I predicted he would. Just like he had been doing everytime our paths crossed, he strode away, avoiding me and the conversation we both knew needed to occur.

              "Hey you!"

I flinched and turned around. Creasing my brows in confusion to see Erika sauntering towards me in red hot heels.

             "Hey." I politely greeted.

She glared at me like she was about to hit me, shooting pin pointed daggers in my direction. Her eyes made a condenscending trail up and down my body and her head shook my side to side in disgust.

She spat, "You're in my way."

"Oh." I stepped away. "I'm sorry."

"Oh my God! Are you that stupid?"

I frowned at her tone of voice. "I-I believe I'm not."

"I want you out of his life. I want you gone. I want you so far away from him."

"I don't know what you are talking about. I'm sorry but far away from who?" I asked, utterly confused.

She gave a snort of exasperation. "And the bitch is acting all good and innocent again. Like she's perfect and not a single flaw in her could be found. Look here, you good for nothing twat. I know you. I know girls like you. Girls like you who are ready to do everything and anything they can to pin a rich guy down. Are you so much of a fool? Do you even have the slightest idea who the fuck Keegan is?"

"Do you know how fucking wealthy his family is? A rich as fuck ass kid having anything to do with a girl straight from the slums? Look at him and then take a good look at yourself. C'mon, don't be an idiot. Don't be a fool. Wake the fuck up. Keegan doesn't love you. Keegan doesn't need you. He's a fucking player and trust me when I say this cause I ain't gon' lie to you, this thing you two have going on ain't gonna last and just when he hits what he really wants from you." She snapped her fingers. "He quits."

I gulped, resisting the tears fighting to flood my cheeks. "You're wrong. You're so very wrong. I don't know who he used to be then but I know who he is now. Keegan loves me. He tells me that all the time." I weakly shot back at her.

She bursted into laughter, mocking me defiantly, expressing so much contempt and disdain towards me. "And who changed him? You? You're even more stupid than I thought. A player doesn't change girl. Once a player, always a goddamn player. Wake the fuck up. Keegan doesn't love you and he never will. C'mon, you're not even his type. You are not in the league of classy girls he fucks with on a norms."

             "Stop. You're lying."

"Do you know the number of girls that goes in and out of his room on a daily basis? You haven't even gotten anywhere with him yet stupid. To start with, what the heck are you even putting on? Who in the world wears a skirt so many inches past the knees?" She cried out. "What the fuck happened to fashion? You're getting a law suit from the Kardashians if they ever sight you in this. No shit." She scorned, swatting her hands in the air like she was chasing away a stubborn fly. "You're wasting your time girl so run. Run away. Run so far away because Keegan doesn't give a fuck about you. Not in a billion tears."

And so I ran.

I ran away.

I ran so far away till my tears dried up, my legs ached and I could run no more.
