There were still two days before their plan was put into action, so he had two days to walk around the Alchemy King Hall and gather as much information as he could.

Though it was like this, the ones that would be gathering the information would be Brainy's puppets. He would just be walking around releasing those puppets and putting stealth laws on them to keep them hidden.
