Who She Really Is...(Charlotte)

The quiet between us as we approached the city was more then enough to tell Joey that I have no intention to talk to him. I keep walking forward, as he takes light steps behind me.

We arrive at the town square, the most busiest place of the town, with extra traffic and people moving around in crowds just because they can. It's also pretty close to the mall.

"Where are we going, again?" Joey speaks up, his pace increasing meeting mine.

"You already know." I say, simply. "Why ask?"

"Because I'm that pathetic to start a conversation." He suggests, sarcastically, shoving his hands in his pockets.

I scoff, taking a left, pushing away at a stranger, in a way that probably shows my annoyance.

"Your town is really..." Joey frowns in thought.

"Boring?" I mumble.

"Warm." He says.

I stop on my tracks and face him with a raised eyebrow.

"Warm?" I scorn, my voice is cold as the air. "Joey, it's the middle of winter."
