Lisa covered her mouth in depression as she saw those words scream at her from the door. No way. No way.
She was late!
She crouched down on the floor and bit her hand. What will she do now? "Where will I stay?" She asked herself and the walls. She really didn't miss being a waitress. Even thinking of it now brought back traumatic memories.
She stood up straight and decided to find the washroom. She hadn't taken a go in a long time. So instead of walking out of the attachment building, she walked further inside. A washroom was right there between the doors that lead one from the attachment building to the main building of BigHit.
Sighing in relief she trotted her way over to the washroom and tried to open the door. It didn't budge. Grunting, she tried again. Still not opening.
"Oh come on, don't test my patience," she gritted thought her teeth, her bladder really threatening to break any moment now. She looked up at the believing and tried to keep her legs together, "Oh God why now? Why here?"
"Hello, miss?"
Lisa looked behind her and saw a girl slightly shorter than her with huge round glasses that framed her eyes well. Her light brown hair was neatly braided on one side and a little bag hung from her shoulder. She looked like she came to the interview too.
"Yeah?" Lisa said, trying to smile kindly.
"The interview is postponed to next week because the CEO just fell sick. Are you looking for the washroom? This building is currently on close-down." She ran her eyes over Lisa in worry.
"Oh!" Lisa bit her lip. What to do now? She can't pee on the floor, close-down or no close-down.
The shorter girl hesitated. "Across the door is the main building of BigHit, there might be a washroom next to the reception." Lisa nodded and opened the door that led to the main building. The first thing she saw when she opened the door were the huge backs of two men.
The feeling in her tummy peaked and she knew that she might go anytime soon. Why hadn't she gone to the washroom before running away from home?
The two guards turned around and scrutinized the girl. "No entry for unauthorised, miss."
Lisa looked up and the guards got startled. Her face was crunched up like a wet tissue paper. "I want...to...pee!" The guards' raised their eyebrows and exchanged glances. "I'm afraid I can't let you in, mis-"
The other guard nudged him and made him shut up. "It's a lady about to break down. I think we should let her in." Lisa met her eyes with the other guard and tried to make her best puppy face possible, but it turned into a wild grimace.
The other guard, his ID card showed the name Gok Jin-ho, grabbed Lisa's arm and led her across the wide area in front of the entrance towards the corridoor behind the reception.
Lisa trotted on her feet gratefully, closing her eyes and concentrating on not letting it go. By the time they reached the brown door that led to the washroom, Lisa took on full speed and opened the door wide. There were a few ladies inside and their hair flew a little from the speed in which Lisa flashed inside and banged the cubicle door close.
Two seconds later, they heard a satisfying "Ahhhh..." from the fourth cubicle from the left. Lisa couldn't stop smiling as she let it all go. Two days of pee all trickling out of her body happily. She sighed and pulled up her pants before stepping outside the washroom and washing her face.
She looked up at the other startled ladies and smiled. "Hi!" Then, sweeping whateer dignity she had left, she walked out of the washroom, relieved.
Gok Jin-ho was guarding the washroom and he let out a squeak of surprise when he saw Lisa. "You're okay?"
Lisa bowed and thanked him gratefully. "Thank you so much guard-nim."
Gok Jin-ho waved a hand, "No problem. miss. I'll take you back now. If they catch an unauthorised here, I'll lose my job."
"What?" Lisa coverd her mouth. "Oh I'm so sorry! I had no idea...please how can I make it up to you? I'm so sorry."
Gok Jin-ho smiled a little. "It's okay, miss, you had a hard time. Perhaps after my work, want to buy me a meal?"
Okay, this was unexpected. She didn't know what to say...it's not like she didn't have any money now for a meal. But this was...Lisa laughed nervously. "Uh, yeah sure..." What else could she have said to the person that momentarily saved her from peeing publicly?
Gok Jin-ho smiled wide and motioned her forward again when the coast was clear and they both entered into the sunlight to cross the wide are again. But this time, someone called them, and it wasn't the other guard.
"Lisa?"
Lisa halted and so did the guard. Did someone just call her name? But this was BigHit, how-
They both turned their heads to meet 7 boys entering the building in casual dresses and dragging their suitcases. Lisa gulped. Jimin was standing right in front, his glasses pushed down as he met Lisa's eyes.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, glancing at the guard. Gok Jin-ho started sweating. He had just got information that no one was outside the entrance from the other guard! Where did these guys come in from?
Gok Jin-ho had been a guard at the company for the past 3 years so seeing them wasn't much of a surprise. But now it was, his entire job flashed before his eyes. He bowed deep at Jimin and smiled. "Good morning, sir. I was just taking this lady out. If you may excuse us."
Gok Jin-ho's heart was beating in his chest as he pushed a surprised Lisa forward gently and her feet moved under his push and walked forward, not taking her eyes of Jimin. Jimin was staring at Lisa go too, confused.
By the time she disappeared back into the attachment building, Tae-hyung swung an arm around Jimin. "Why do you look like you just saw a ghost?"
Jimin recollected himself and looked at Tae-hyung. "Um. Nothing, just thought I saw our old manager."
V gasped. "Who? Ji-young-nim? That monster?" He looked left and right and pulled up his sleeves. "Where is that lady, I have some words to say to her." Jimin sighed and walked forward to their band room, leaving Tae-hyung to run around the reception area and look for a person who was never there.
"Where are you Ji-young? I will kill you!"
Roh Ji-young had been their manager for 1 month. She was appointed as a replacement when their all time manager had to take a small break to attend to his family. But while Ji-young was there, everything went hectic for the boys. They even missed two schedules because Ji-young forgot to inform them. It broke their promise to a lot of fans.
RM called Tae-hyung closer. "Don't speak her name around her, Tae Tae. She's from the other company." Ah right. Roh Ji-young was a spy sent from Limelight Entertainment, the reason why she tried to sabotage the biggest Korean boy band of all time.
V pouted and followed his friend into the band room, trying to calm down. He halted in front of the middle of the entrance area for a while and looked at the almost hidden door that led to the attachment building. He felt a pull from there. But he ignored it and walked forward.
Lisa on the other hand was leaning against the wall outside the building. She almost met all the seven all over again. She shuddered. She's never coming near here ever again. Gok Jin-ho followed her out and smiled.
"You're going to go back home yes?"
Lisa nodded, even though she didn't really have a home right now.
"I'll see you after 4 o clock then?" He decided on a place to meet for a meal and Lisa nodded to everything he said before turning around and leaving.
Gok Jin-ho had a wide smile on his face when he went back into the building. Thank God, he didn't lose his job. That would have been messy. The other guard called him in in fear.
"What is it?"
Choi In-jae, the guard spoke, his voice filled with suspicion. "You checked the BigHit Security Committee message?" He slipped his phone back inside his pocket and Jin-ho took his phone out to check. There was a notification from the chat group of all the guards in the building.
Jin-ho frowned as he opened up the message. It was a picture, then under it were some words.
[The Seoul Police Department is on the search for a woman, somewhere around her 20s. She was last seen in a grey top, pink cardigan and blue jeans. Please be on the lookout and call this hotline number for any kind of leads on this woman. She is a potential murderer.]
He looked at the picture closely and looked up at his friend In-jae. "Is this..." The other guard nodded. "Shall we call?"
Gok Jin-ho fell into deep thought. He was meeting her at 4 o clock...and this was it, if he caught the girl, he would definitely get promoted as she was potential murderer too. He couldn't believe it.
"No not now," Jin-ho said. He wanted her all to himself. That promotion was his, no one else. Jin-ho smiled. "I'll take care of it." He pulled his collar tight and stood in front of the door, back to his guarding position, waiting for 4 o clock.
