Broken hearts

Noah and KL heard the whole conversation inside the hospital room of Lisa and Dazzle.

Noah said, "I never thought this will make a great attack on Dazzle.

I would have never killed him. I feel so bad. Killing is something that can't be replaced or changed. I can't even apologise."

KL said, "It is not your fault. Dazzle herself didn't realise these. She is confused too. We must not get diverted."

Noah nodded and leaned against the wall calming himself down.

Dazzle was looking at the clear sky while Lisa was reading. Someone entered their room.

Dazzle looked and smiled when she saw a pale looking Monica and Jenny entering the room.

Dazzle was so happy to see Jenny after many months. Jenny immediately hugged Dazzle and cried.

Jenny said, "Sorry...sorry for dumping you like that. I was rude."

Five months ago,

Jenny was crying and she said, "Dazzle look...you are a killer. I am never going to be a friend of a killer.

You lost your mind. When you have the killing urge, you will kill me too. Get lost."

Dazzle was so heartbroken but accepted her reality.

Present-day,

Lisa was looking at Jenny with disgust but Jenny was so happy to see her little Dazzle.

Dazzle said, "How have you been?" Jenny said, "To be honest, not so good.

I wanted to see you but ... I am sorry. I am leaving our society today."

Dazzle asked shocked, "What?!" Jenny nodded and said, "My boyfriend is working in Australia. I am moving in with him."

Dazzle asked, "But your grandma?" Jenny looked down and suddenly burst into tears.

Dazzle, Lisa and Monica were shocked.

Lisa lost her anger and immediately hugged Jenny. Jenny said, "She died. She left me. She left all of us."

Dazzle started to cry silently too. Dazzle liked Jenny's grandmother. She was always kind to Dazzle.

Jenny's grandmother was a close and nice friend of Dazzle's grandmother.

Dazzle asked after both of them calmed down, "Why wasn't I informed?"

Jenny said, "I came to your apartment but it seems you went on a vacation."

Jenny continued, "I sold the ice cream shop. I am going to leave tonight." Dazzle nodded and smiled. Dazzle said, "Be a brave and independent woman.

Be safe." Jenny nodded and smiled too.

Dazzle and Jenny were talking while Lisa noticed Monica sustaining her pain. She was holding her chest and breathing unevenly.

As soon as Jenny left, Lisa was so concerned that she dragged Monica with her to see a doctor as they were in a hospital.

Monica fought and denied but Lisa didn't give up. Noah and KL were confused and followed them.

Lisa saw a doctor and called out to her. Lisa asked, "A check-up for this lady."

Lisa and Noah were waiting outside while Monica was inside the room talking to a doctor.

Dazzle was thinking and discussing with KL about their next victim of the pendant. The last one.

Dazzle said, "I have no idea." KL said, "Take rest now...Let me think." Dazzle nodded and closed her eyes.

Dazzle suddenly saw Liam in front of her. He said, "Hello love. The victims may be dead or not. Don't get confused. I love you."

Liam smiled like a bunny and faded.

Dazzle immediately woke up and looked at KL who was looking at her worried.

Dazzle said, "Liam said that THE VICTIM MAY OR MAY NOT BE DEAD."

KL widened his eye. KL said, "That makes it more confusing." Dazzle nodded and said, "My sleep is totally distracted."

KL glared at Dazzle and scoffed. He said, "I am telling Noah about your dream.

He immediately called Noah and informed him. Noah said about Dazzle's dream to curious Lisa.

Just as Lisa was about to talk, the doctor called them in. They went inside the room and saw a puffy-eyed Monica.

Lisa asked, "Are you okay?" Monica didn't answer it making them more scared and worried.

The doctor said, "She is suffering from heart disease."

Lisa and Noah were speechless. The doctor continued,

"Sudden, unexpected loss of heart function, breathing and consciousness.

In cardiac arrest, the heart abruptly stops beating. Without prompt intervention, it can result in a person's death."

Lisa and Monica started crying. Noah asked in a shaky voice, "Do we have a cure?"

The doctor said, "Don't let her get stressed or angry. No heavy works like carrying heavy bags.

She can't be cured with surgeries but regular intake of medicine and peaceful life will help her."

Everyone was informed about Monica's disease. Monica was so heartbroken.

Noah sent her to her parent's house to calm herself down.

Noah said, "Girls, you cannot cry in front of her. Look...Now I had to send her away. She will be scared if two strong girls cry."

Dazzle said, "I am so shocked. I can't stop crying."

Lisa couldn't even talk a word. Noah said, "I cannot blame you. I want to cry too."

KL said, "This is so unbearable. Let her be happy. I am going to officially remove her from our gang."

Dazzle started to cry again after hearing it. Even Noah and KL cried.

Lisa said, "She must be strong. She needs us. If we all go she may feel bad. One day one of us will visit her. Okay?"

Everyone nodded. Dazzle suddenly remembered her dream, THE VICTIM IS NOT ALWAYS DEAD."

She thought deeply for sometimes but she couldn't make any sense.

Dazzle was hoping a protective arm around her. Her pendant was not a source of comfort for Dazzle anymore.

She hoped Liam would hug her and kiss her. The hospital room was so quiet. Lisa was so sad that she barely talked.

Noah was also sad that he often went to the restroom to cry alone. KL stayed in the room not knowing what to do.

Lisa suddenly asked, "We should have brought her here earlier."

Dazzle nodded. KL said, "Lisa...Don't worry. We are not late. She is fine as long as she doesn't stress herself."

Dazzle nodded and said, "I want to kill someone." KL nodded and said, "Yes but calm down now."

Dazzle silently nodded and laid on her bed. Lisa's silence killed Dazzle.

Lisa said, "I am sorry. I couldn't comfort you. I...am so shocked."

Dazzle nodded and said, "It's fine. I understand. Everyone is not in their right mind including me."
