But when Ivan saw the items floating in front of him, he couldn't help but curse the system for being too late. There were ten big bread loaves, a barrel that seems to contain water, a pair of similarly designed clothes that are similar to what people wore in the late medieval era.

It was a linen white and black shirt with a dark brown and khaki-colored vest. There were also a pair of pants and boots of the same color as the vests.

A bow and a quiver full of arrows plus a steel sword were floating besides those items. There were also two pairs of ten-meter long ropes and a knife.

Ivan's face twitched, his teeth ached and his stomach hurt the most to see food and water inside his inventory. If this was given earlier to him then maybe he hadn't need to eat the raw meat of a disgusting rat and drink its blood. He also didn't have to eat that brick-like bread he obtained from Jon, the bandit.

Ivan immediately tried to reach for a loaf of bread because he was felt too hungry.

When Ivan opened his eyes, he saw that same piece of yellow and soft bread appearing on top of his right palm.

The smell that wafted from it to his nose caused Ivan to drool in his mouth. Even the wolf down on the ground caught the tasty smell of that loaf and whined as if pleading the human to share with him too. The woman in his arms seems to awaken due to smelling the scent of food so close to her.

Ivan didn't want to share his food with anyone at the moment so he immediately stuffed half of the loaf inside his mouth even if he was having difficulty in chewing and swallowing it. The woman awakened to this sight. She unconsciously licked lips when seeing the bread in Ivan's mouth and his right hand.

"Kya~..!?" The woman screamed immediately when she remembered her situation and felt herself sitting on the lap of an unknown man who was still dressed in the black cloths of the bandits.

Ivan rushed to close her mouth and stuffed that other half loaf, inside her wide open portal to her stomach which caused her to blink in surprise, and then her mouth automatically started chewing on the tasty piece of the bread loaf.

Awoo!

The wolf cried seeing the bread vanishing inside another woman's mouth.

The whining of the wolf attracted the woman's attention who trembled upon seeing the wild animal staring at her.

"Don't make any noise and silently eat your food or I will throw you down to become his dinner". Ivan said in a threatening tone after swallowing the bread loaf in his mouth.

He then checked his status screen.

After eating the bread, Ivan did not feel that much hungry anymore. He wanted to drink water but didn't know how to drink it without summoning the entire barrel of water.

They were currently sitting on a tree branch and with the weight of the water barrel, the branch would definitely break causing the two of them to fall and become the food of the wolf. The plan to satisfy his thirsty would have to postpone for a while.

Seeing that his health might become full for the first time, Ivan thought it was better to put all his points in Dexterity.

Ivan thought of adding the two stat points to his dexterity and voila, the number against Dexterity tab changed to 14. Ivan felt his body becoming uncommonly comfortable to move around but couldn't try it because of being stuck atop a tree.

The weakened state has been lifted after having Ivan filled his stomach and his health points slowly returning to full.

'Let's try the appraisal ability then' Ivan first used it on the woman that had just finished swallowing her food down her throat.

She is apparently an apprentice mage and can even use light magic' Ivan read about her information and found she was weaker than him physically but had her Mana points unlocked. Also, she had an adventure Rank F. Whatever that meant, Ivan had a None against his unknown Adventure Rank.

Naina fidgeted when she saw the young man looking at her so seriously. She didn't dare to move around or she might accidentally fall down.

Ivan was ignorant of her worries, he looked down at the wolf and saw it sitting on the ground but still not moving his eyes away from them.

'Even a fucking wolf has more charisma than me' Ivan felt like someone stabbed his heart and ego like a thousand times. Ivan can understand Naina having more charisma than him because she is a pretty woman and has quite a smoking body but why did that wold have more charisma than him.

He didn't know how charisma stat benefits him but he guessed it should be related to the face value of the person or their personality.

The wolf also started growling at Ivan when he felt the human looking at him with hostility.

"Hey, can you do magic." Ivan turned his eyes away from the wolf and asked Naina who was also looking at the wolf.

"What?Ho...how did you know?" Naina asked unwittingly

"Can you do it or not?"

Naina nodded hesitantly but then immediately tried to explain after thinking the young man would make her fight the beast.

"I can only use light magic."

"Light magic, that's even better. Heal me." Ivan wanted to see her doing magic on him with his eyes. Since she could only do some nonlethal magic, Ivan wasn't afraid.

"You..." Naina wanted to ask how he knows that she can perform a healing spell but then she thought about her magic attribute and that every light magician at least understands the basic level spell, Light Healing.

"Alright, I will do it but I'm not proficient in it," Naina informed.

Ivan nodded. He only wanted to feel the magic and see it with his own eyes.

"Lumo Curatio~!" Naina whispered in a cryptic language as she placed rested her palm on his chest.

A soft white silky radiance surrounded Naina's hand. Although it was very bright, it wasn't dazzling. Ivan felt warm at the place of contact between her palm and his chest.
