Clarifying things with Ziraili (1)

"I'm impressed, Aspen." Eldrian mumbled as he read through the reports his retainer had compiled for him. It had been a few weeks since Eldrian had last stayed in his estate, having left things for Aspen to manage in his absence. 

The wolfkin had done wonderfully, also reaching Tier 4 in this time and learning some magic up to Tier 3. Naturally, Eldrian didn't consider Aspen as someone he could take to battle with him, but Eldrian never wished to use those who had wished to become his retainers as such. After all, unlike him and the other players, their deaths would be final should things go south. 

"I am simply happy to be of service." Smiling, Aspen went on to detail everything that had happened in Eldrian's absence. He still wished to grow stronger, but he was coming to accept he would not be of much help in battle.
