The Loot??? and The Girl???

After looting from the bodies she looked around in the room and found a safe.

Looking at the safe for a few moments. She thought about the key she got from the ra*ist bas*t*rd. Taking out the key from her pocket, she hoped for the safe to open with the key.

With a 'ka chang' sound safe was unlocked. Opening the safe, she looked at the contents inside. Seeing the contents inside the safe her eyes sparkled like stars.

Money was stacked inside the safe. There are also gold bars as well as jewellery aside from these, nothing else was of her interest the rest were deeds of some lands and some ledger books.

Putting everything on the duffel bag she grinned. fortunately, she was able to put all the money, jewellery and the gold bars inside. The bag was full and was heavy, a lot heavier than she imagined but it was still manageable for her.

Leaving the room with the duffel bag on her back. She went to the room where Karen is.

She knocked on the door a few times. There was no noise just complete silence, Karen wasn't opening the door. She knocked another few times again there was silence and she didn't open, frowning she picked the lock of the room and got inside.

What she saw inside was a bit shocking.

She saw the 17-year-old girl lying on the bed with her wrist slit open blood continuously was pouring out of the cut.

Aurora slowly made her way to Karen. The girl looked at her with eyes filled with guilt and shame.

"Why?" Aurora asked.

"After what happened to me, I didn't want to live anymore." Karen said looking at her saviour. If it weren't for her, she would have been tortured for days before they get rid of her.

"I'm sorry." Karen said to Aurora her voice weakening slowly.

"I understand." Aurora understood clearly. She couldn't live like she has been living before, after going through this experience. She has suffered enough, her mind was on the brink of collapse.

She couldn't accept what had happened to her, she wanted to escape from this hell. This nightmare, even after she knew the nightmare she has been experiencing was over. The hell, she was in was no more. She was already broken, for her, it will never end nor will she ever be able to accept it.

Aurora waited beside her patiently.

Karen seeing her gave out a smile before slowly closing her eyes. She already lost a lot of blood, it was only a moment before she was consumed by darkness.

She stood there a couple of minute before leaving the room, leaving the compound and reuniting with her brother.

"Was that bad? Huh." She heard his brother's voice.

"Yeah, that bad. She was already broken" said with no emotion on her face and voice.

Aaron giving a tight hug to Aurora said. "Let's go, the next change in the shift for the guard is soon. If we miss the opportunity to go in then we will have to stay outside till morning. I'm not like you who can sneak in and out easily, my body is weak."

'Okay." Leaving the duffel bag with her brother she went to retrieve those cams of her brother's.

It didn't take much longer to gather them. Since she already knew where she placed them and was already familiar with the surroundings.

10 minutes later she came back with a backpack in her back.

"Let's just walk back home." Aaron said looking at his watch, the night is still young.

Hearing Aaron, Aurora nodded.

Taking the duffel bag, she walked alongside Aaron towards their destination home.

Unlike when they came in here, in a hurry. They can go at their own pace now since the task was already completed.

Choosing the paths where there weren't any people they went home.

Fortunately, for them when they arrived they saw the guard sleeping in his post.

So it was easy for them to go inside.

Getting inside the residence Aurora spoke, "We have to talk to our aunt about the guards."

Aaron nodding replied, "yeah, they need to seriously do their job. They can't slack off. If it's easier for us to just straight up walk into the residence, what about those thieves or something." Frowning Aaron thought in his mind, that he must talk to their aunt for the security.

When they were going through the living room they saw Aunt May sleeping in the Couch, the T.V was still running.

Aurora turned the T.V off and went to get a blanket for her aunt.

Aaron in their room placed the backpacks with his laptop and the cams, sat on the chair waiting for Aurora to come.

A minute later Aurora arrived with the duffel bag in hand. Placing the duffel bag near the bed she said without looking at Aaron "I'm gonna go take a shower. I smell of blood and sweat."

Taking her pyjamas from the wardrobe she went to the bathroom.

When they arrived at their residence Nyx already went to sleep.

So Aaron took out the laptop from the backpack and placed it on the desk. Getting up he walked towards the bedside table grabbed the other laptops walked back to his desk.

Turning on the PC, on the desk and connecting all the laptops to the PC. He started checking one last time around the area of the compound and the places they went. Seeing that everything is okay, he started doing his usual research on a few criminal gangs and getting information for the candidates that he has chosen.

20 minutes later Aurora came out of the bathroom.

"I need to clean those clothes up properly, ugghhh it's so frustrating to get rid of the blood from the clothes." Aurora said groaning a bit.

"Well then, since you're out. Let me go get a shower myself." Aaron said finishing up his work.

Getting up from the chair and turning off the pc and the laptops he went to take a shower.

Jumping into the bed Aurora waited for Aaron to finish showering. She lying in the bed looking at the ceiling thinks about what happened tonight.

Especially about Karen.
