After witnessing and experiencing the strike from a resident of the Mysterious Island, Zeel came to the conclusion that all animals and plants on the island were enhanced to a fairly large degree.
If the trees he broke through were any indication, then even rocks should be as hard as diamonds here on the island.
Walking just a bit further from the location of the accident, the group stumbled upon huge Lizard eggs. Obviously, the previous animal killed was a female.
"Do you think the father is bigger?" Alice asked Zeel in a teasing manner.
Before he could respond, or anyone could respond for that matter.
Everyone heard a loud grumble of a mountain beast or a stomach. It was hard to tell based on the sound alone.
"Is anyone else hungry?" Gabato asked treasuring his stomach just a little less than he does Kailani.
Elizabeth was awed by the prospect of survival in a jungle, so she volunteered to be the cook for the day.
She had survived on alien planets, barren planes, and even spaceships before, but never in a jungle.
The entire idea, though rudimentary compared to her other experiences, provided a sort of insatiable hunger for new experiences.
Elizabeth liked to explore and would constantly jump into danger without Alice's or Zeel's interventions.
While on Planet Viveron, she even attempted to go explore the floating pyramid hidden by the Energone people, but was stopped by a panicked Zeel.
Others may not feel it but he was very well aware of the divinity that constantly leaked from the statue.
Hank was finished eating and decided to ask a question that had been bothering him since the beginning "What is a sub-dimension? I always heard you guys mentioning it?"
Alice, Zeel, and Elizabeth looked at each other before Elizabeth opted to explain.
Zeel or Alice might give too much information since the restrictions were just that severe "It is like a dimension within a dimension.
Any place that exists dependent on a dimension that is in contact with the wider universe and is difficult to enter is considered a sub-dimension – loosely defined that is. A sub-dimension is basically a restricted space or folded space on a planet or another dimension like this planet,"
Sean nodded in understanding, before raising a question of his own "So you're saying the earth is a dimension?"
"Earth is a mystery nobody wants to actively mess with. In all the multiverses, humans are a peculiarity and a detriment almost anywhere they go.
Surprisingly, you guys are often the weakest as well. Anyways, that's above your pay grade but yeah, I am more interested in how you guys are here?" Zeel answered looking at the humans suspiciously, since when could a signal, from an island once owned by a god, make it to a human ruled continent?
Even if the island was not sentient, it should have restrictions in place to stop it.
Zeel, Alice, and Elizabeth previously chalked the entire thing up to luck, but the moment Alice gazed upon Sean with her eyes, she was able to tell a slight peculiarity on his soul.
Alice later told Zeel that his soul was slightly larger and brighter than the normal ones, almost as if to indicate he was destined for greatness.
With that, another couple of rounds of small-time bickering continued. Later Alice and Elizabeth laid in Zeel's arms fully naked but not doing anything since the company was nearby.
Alice and Zeel got excited at one point and started making out, after becoming gods their senses and bodily functions were not only divine but when they had sex it would be intimate to the point of caressing each other's souls.
At first, the process was very painful given Alice's divinity but after Zeel began coating himself with his divine lightning, the pain stopped and the overwhelming pleasure began.
Soon, learning from Zeel's method, Elizabeth began coating herself with her silver lightning as well and was then able to join them for short periods of time since her soul could not handle the pressures of their caresses.
"The sky is always beautiful at night," Alice whispered as she ran her fingers through Elizabeth's hair, an activity she had come to appreciate over the years.
"Yeah, see that constellation belongs to Poseidon's trident, quite ironic, huh?" Elizabeth pointed out finding the irony in the situation, Zeel was exhausted and instead just nodded in agreement.
The trio watched the sunset behind the western mountains. The morning soon came as everyone began awakening from their slumber.
Hank began noticing something off about the island but could not put his finger on it just yet, instead, he opted to ignore it.
Alice and Kailani had become fairly well acquainted after a couple of hours of socialization.
Alice found herself being a bit edgy and needed to be around a pure-hearted individual or at least the closest person to that ideal.
She found Kailani to be the kindest person she had met in a long time, being around Zeel and Elizabeth may have affected her expectations quite a bit though.
Sean and Elizabeth, both being reckless people by nature, were getting along quite well, leaving Zeel, Hank, and Gabato to scrounge up whatever conversation they could to not be envious of the others.
Alice had been observing the flora and fauna in hopes of acquiring some extraordinary samples for her projects still in the workings.
She always complained to Zeel about desiring a storage dimension that could also store living animals but was always refused based on technicalities.
Elizabeth had her own projects to consider as well but mainly leaned towards designing her own modes of transportation: cycles, buses, trains.
Anything that moved, she would attempt to pimp it out as much as she possibly could.
Though, in secret, Elizabeth began working with runes that could enhance the weapons created by her nanites.
The algorithm that created Hybrid Runes was a tedious process, it was like finding the right frequency out of trillions of frequencies.
So far, Elizabeth had only managed to create five ruins, which was also the limit that any weapons created by the nanites could hold.
Elizabeth did this because she noticed that weapons in Zeel's and Alice's hands would rapidly degrade.
Zeel hated being restricted by The World Laws, but it also protected them from being noticed by a certain level of beings.
Still, he had noticed that weapons held by them would deteriorate rather quickly when imbued with their divinities, and with no control over his divinity, this would be a major problem in the near future.
Just then, Zeel and the group came to a stop as they could hear rustling in the distance, Alice stared at a detector that floated in front of her before saying "Come out! We know you're there,"
From within the bushes, holding a machete, came a white-bearded old man with torn clothing looking as if he had not taken a bath since the era of the old gods – the smell also went a long way to compliment this assumption.
I wanna upload more, but coming up with titles is hard lml.
