"You said you want to be immortal? I can help you with that. I have the elixir of life processed from the sap of Tree of Life." "Oh, you also want me to provide some corpse? I can help you with that. You see that tree over there? My killer tree over there has managed to kill so many thieves who were aiming for my garden." "You want me to provide you with meat for your village? Sure, I've got tons of magic beasts being guarded by my pet." "Oh, you want to kill me to take everything I have? I have a seed that can take all the nutrients of the land in your village leaving it barren." "My background? I'm just a farmer. Farming in this land. Don't mind me. Look, i'm just planting seeds over here." A man transported to another world after dying from bad luck. Instead of showing who's fist is bigger or who's d*ck is longer, he decided to not meddle on everything and built a farm for himself.

Chapter 1Unlucky Man

Amamiya Ren is a 45 y/o office worker who had lived an above average life, had a good monthly salary, no debts to anyone, his own house, he has all of the things that others don't. Except that he isn't happy. He always comes home to the same interior of his house, same design, eat the same food everyday. Its not that he doesn't know how to cook, in fact, Ren had taken lessons from workshops but he just didn't have time to cook for himself.

'Maybe its time to call it quits, and maybe find a wife and settle down.' He thought to himself, while sitting in front of his cubicle, but he also knows that for a 45 y/o guy like him, its way past the age of marriage.

'Maybe I should sell everything and maybe just buy a house in the province and become a farmer, at least the air is much fresher there than here at the capital.' He thought to himself.

'I think calling it quits is the best option for me. I think working for more than half of my life is more than enough to support me for the rest of my life.' Ren thought as he stood up from his cubicle and wrote a quick resignation letter before sending it to the head's office.

The head denied his resignation because of the sudden resignation but Ren won't take no for an answer. He had already packed all of his things and his co-workers are confused and gossiping about him packing up but one thing is for certain, they are all eyeing Ren's position and are hoping to be promoted.

Ren then entered the elevator with his things. The receptionist greeted him with a smile and he returned the same. When he reached the exit, the guard who can be called a close acquaintance to Ren greeted him and was surprised of him carrying his things.

"What happened to you, Ren? Did you get fired?" The guard asked.

"No, I resigned of my own volition but the head denied it. Man, i've been working half of my life in this company, its time to call it quits and maybe live in the countryside to relax until the day I die." Ren said as the guard laughed.

"I see, then where do you plan on going? Hakone? Hokkaido? Tottori Prefecture? Kagoshima Prefecture?" The guard asked.

"I don't know yet. But I guess Hakone isn't a bad idea." Ren said.

"Then you better find a wife and bring her there, I'm sure she'll love it there. I can also tell my cousin to tour you in the place if you want to." The guard said.

"Haha, you know that finding a wife is impossible for me. Considering my age, the only thing she'll be after is my money. Also thanks for letting me know, I'll call you if my plan on relocating to Hakone is finalized." Ren awkwardly said.

"Don't be. Anyway, good luck on the latter half of your journey. Also, be careful. The street outside is designated as a drag racing track tonight." The guard said and warned Ren. He simply nodded as he walked out of the building where he spent most of his life working.

He was about to hail a cab but remembered that the street is being used for drag racing. Making up his mind, he decided to walk to the nearest cab station. On the way to the station, Ren noticed a black cat staring at him as he stopped and stared at the cat as well. Ren bent down and set aside his things as he hoped the cat would come near him. The cat came closer to him and Ren patted its head and the cat started acting coyly and started playing with Ren.

After a few minutes, Ren decided to adopt the cat. He is sure that he won't have a wife so a cat as company doesn't feel bad and he, at least, won't feel lonely. Picking up his things, he put the cat above his shoulder and continued walking to the station.

On the way to the station, the cat on Ren's shoulder started scratching Ren's neck to get his attention.

"Ouch, stop that, we are near the station so don't worry." Ren said to the cat but the cat in response started scratching him harder.

"Why? Do you want to eat something? Wait till we reach home." Ren said but the cat still didn't stop scratching him. He endured and ignored the cat's scratching as he was only one turn away from the cab station.

As soon as he turned to the corner, he is met by the headlight of a motorcycle that is slipping. Being hit, Ren flew due to the impact, his things flew to the air and the cat jumped out of his shoulder.

Ren opened his eyes and his sight were very blurry with his field of vision starting to be devoured into darkness.

'Is this where I die? I see. That Black cat is not bad luck... instead it was warning me... that's why it was scratching my neck... pity, I didn't heed its warning.' Ren thought as his eyes started closing as his vision went dark.

The next time Ren opened his eyes, he was in a head office because of the design of it and there were many stockpiles of papers around him.

"Where am I? Wasn't I hit by a motorcycle? Why am I in an office?" Ren said to himself.

"Oh, you're finally awake." said a voice coming from the stacks of papers.

"Uhm, excuse me. Where is this place?" Ren asked. He can't make out a decision of what is happening around him. First off, he is sure he was hit by a motorcycle and died because he felt the intense pain and broken bones all over his body. And now he is in an office without the pain from the crash. It just doesn't make sense.

"I'm sorry, I lost to a bet so I had to do all of their paperworks for 50 years." Said the voice and the next thing Ren knew was he is transported into a white space.

What came in front of Ren was an old man with a white long hair and a staff in his hands. He looks like Gandalf in Ren's eyes, or maybe he really is Gandalf.

"No, I am not Gandalf and yes I can read your mind. My name is simply Overseer. My job is to oversee everything be it in the lower realms, higher realms, and the barren realms. As for the Celestial realms, that's not my jurisdiction." Overseer said as he stared at Ren.

"So, why am I here? The last thing I remembered was that I died from a motorcycle crash." Ren said to the overseer. The overseer's words still doesn't sink in because he thought he is dreaming.

"Well, you died because of an accident we caused. We are playing that game called Mario Kart that is famous in your world but we did it in real life, it was fun, we even made power-up boxes but only we fellow Gods could see it. The reason you died is because my motorcycle hit a banana trap and slid all over the place and you were hit before I managed to regain the control on my motorcycle." The overseer said.

"So... I died... because you Gods were fooling around...?" Ren said starting to get really angry from what happened.

"I apologize for that. It wasn't intended to happen. It was an accident." The overseer said.

"Accident...? You... robbed me of the rest of my life! I was planning to live in peace! Not rest in peace! And you were saying its an accident as if it was a normal occurence?!" Ren lashed out while Overseer just waited for him to calm down.

In the eyes of a God, Ren in front of him is like an ant that could be squished easily but its still true that it was his fault he was lashing out like this.

"Listen, I saw in your memories that you plan on being a farmer. I can grant you that wish. I could also give you a random guardian companion and finally a random power. It all depends on your luck." Seeing that Ren won't stop rambling soon, he decided to cut him off.

"What? Do you think that by giving me these gifts, it could appease my anger? Hell no!" Ren said but the Overseer looks like he doesn't care about him at all so he calmed down and the Overseer's words finally sinked in.

He finally knew his position and he doesn't have anything to say. What could he do to a God? Throw rocks at him knowing it won't hurt him.

"So you have finally accepted your fate and knew your position? You should be glad you're even gaining these gifts." Said the Overseer as he released an invisible pressure that weighed on Ren's mind.

"All I want is a peaceful life. That's all. I have worked all my life and when I was about to gain the peace and freedom, I was robbed of it because of your game!" Ren said in frustration.

"Peaceful life? Only when you are strong and on top will you be able to attain that freedom and peace that you want." The overseer said as he reminisced the days he was still starting out.

"Anyway, we're talking for quite some time. It's time for you to to get your random tickets and be on your way. I still have lots of work to do." The overseer said to Ren who had no choice but to follow his words.

A spinning wheel appeared in front of Ren and he walked in front of it and used his strength to spin it.

When the wheel stopped, a black cat appeared in front of Ren and Ren picked the cat up and put it on his shoulder.

"You're quite the lucky one, huh." The overseer said as he waved his hand and the contents of the wheel changed as Ren used his full strength and the wheel spun again.

When the wheel finally stopped, the Overseer had a grin on his face.

"The gate of truth... Alchemy, huh. You really are lucky aren't you. Finally, as promised, I will make your occupation, a farmer." The overseer said as he waved his hand and a hoe appeared in Ren and he grabbed it.

"That is an all-purpose hoe. You can change it to any beginner farming tools to help you. Also, I would let you access the interdimensional marketplace. You can buy seeds of all kinds there depending on your rank. (All-purpose Hoe... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )

Since you've also earned quite a lot of money for yourself, I'm going to convert them into points for your start-up funds.

Also you can increase your rank by paying points and when you do upgrade your rank, a whole new array of seeds and farming tools will be available to you. As for the world you're going, it is random. Your appearance will also change since your dead body is not tied anymore with the sisters of fate. By transferring to a new body, the sisters of fate will weave your new fate and destiny." The overseer said and as he waved his hands once again and another spinning wheel appeared in front of Ren.

The previous spinning wheel's content also changed. One of the spinning wheel consists of different worlds while the other wheel consists of characters that Ren used to know.

"Can you spin them simultaneously?" Ren asked.

"Are you sure? I'm unlucky, you know?" The overseer said.

"Its fine, I don't care anymore. I'll just try my best to do what I can. After all, I don't have a choice but to survive anyway." Ren said as he stared at the worlds placed at the spinning wheel. All of them contains a simple basic law, survival of the fittest. As for the appearance, it doesn't matter as well. What can your handsome appearance do if you're dead?

Knowing what Ren is thinking, the overseer grinned as he saw Ren already adapting himself to his situation.

'Humans really are one of the most adaptable race to have ever lived in all realms.' The overseer thought.

The wheel stopped and Ren frowned when he saw the world he's being transferred to.

'Shinobi World.'

As for his new body, it is Sora Nai. (The Procrastination King)

"A low class world in the lower realms, huh. Oh, well. Good luck in your new life." The overseer said and he waved his hands and Ren's body is swallowed by a black hole.

"Crap, I shouldn't have used black hole. I should've just teleported him. Oh, well. Just let him deal with it himself." Overseer said as he messed up again. He is now holding to a set of crystals and in there are some of the memories Ren had.

"I guess I'll just return what he needs. He doesn't need to remember much of his previous life's suffering." He said as he waved his hands once more and the some of the crystal fragments followed Ren to the lower realms.

First chapter of a new series full of fcking plotholes as usual. I was actually planning on making sports novel but realized that my writing style doesn't fit with it as I want a slow-paced slice-of-life theme novel. I'm also bad at writing a prologue so, yeah. Just bear with it.

As you can see, the MC's memory doesn't contain everything it used to be so he don't remember everything in his past life. Only his conversation with Overseer and so on and so forth.
