Class Representative Vote

Satisfied with the results of that discussion, Akane was skipping steps in the hallway.

This entire week wasn't the best for her until now, but this morning was definetely considered a great one.

Not only has another person awaken their soul, they also had a good grasp on the subject, so the release on that information to the public couldn't be that far off.

Well, at least it would be still in her lifetime.

Right in front of the classroom door to class 1-A did Akane stop and look at the clock.

It was 8.10 AM. Akane was surprised, she expected that she would come late by the time the discussion about magic was finished. But the fact that she was still early and by a quarter of an hour, despite the situation she was in these last days...

...it couldn't be just a random chance, could it?

Akane immediately shook her head after that thought, that was a silly thought. She shouldn't make the mistake to put correlation and result together, some things just happen with chance.

Nothing was absolute after all.

At the end she just decided to enter the classroom normally, but before she did that, a thought crossed Akanes mind and a devious smile appeared on her face.

This was going to be a funny prank for the entire class...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The lesson started and Aizawa entered the classroom, the class following behind him.

"Damn reporters, camping in front of the school, blocking the entrance.

Apparently everyone came a bit too late, because of the newsreporters that clogged up the entrance, because the news about her and All Might entering UA High School has spread.

Way to go reporting about a girl and a macho dude, wasn't there any important news?

Beside that everything went the usual order, Aizawa standing in front of the blackboard and the class taking their seat, how peaceful.

"Hope you all get used to this, because it will probably stay like this for a couple of more days until they understand that this is pointless."

The class nodded, they all hoped that this situation in front of the school would be over soon, they were already tired from the barrage of question today, they didn't want anymore of that for the time being.

"Anyways, I hope you all reflected on your marks and evaluations you got on you Battle Trials."

The entire class nodded at that remark.

"Now onto another topic."

He pulled out a stack of papers that was thicker than the stack of papers yesterday.

The evaluation of the entire class was combined sshorter than that of Akanes.

"Can someone deliver this to her after school?"

Everyone stared holes into that stack of papers as it laid there, they all wanted to take the opportunity to visit the girl again, so they all were internally discussing who should have the rights to have that privilege, until suddendly Aizawa facepalmed himself out of nowhere.

"Right, I forgot that she still has to be in the emergency ward after what happened yesterday. Scratch that, the school will send these to her home."

Everyones faces immediately dropped by a shade, right yesterday.

"Now that that stuff is all done, let's go back to the topic we couldn't finish in yesterdays homeroom."

He turned around and pulled the blackboard down, but to his surprise something unexpected happened.

The moment he pulled the blackboard down a bucket full of water fell down, but before it could hit him he used his capturing weapon and managed to capture the bucket gracefully with his martial art technique, the 'Binding Cloth'.

Akane saw that technique and made a note to herself to learn that, it would be helpful, because she was wearing bandages day in and out anyways.

After Aizawa caught that bucket and set it down to the ground, the class started to clap.

"Nice try, now out with it. Who did that?"

Everyone started looking at each other, each shaking their head, because they weren't the ones who did it.

"So apparently nobody here wants to be the culprit here?"

Everyone in the class shook their head, silently whispering between each other, they really didn't do anything, but Aizawa sighed seeing this.

"You think I don't do collective punishments?"

Everyone immediately shivered upon that thought, but because it was the truth that nobody did this prank the backlash by that sentence was huge.

"Fine, I let you all get away with this just once."

The class breathed out in relief and Aizawa returned back to the blackboard, but the moment he pulled it down, to be able to write on it, Aizawa was met with a very unexpected sight.

Akane was right behind the blackboard, holding onto the two supporting pillars of the sliding blackboard to hold her body up into the air.

She had the biggest, smug smile imaginable as she was found, it was kind of reminiscent to a certain lazy skeleton, but without that depression and hidden pain behind of it.

Aizawa was caught off guard with this. He didn't know how to react, because this was a first that someone hid behind the blackboard here, simply because maintaining that position was very straining for the body.

The middle of the blackboard is two meters long and the only way to completely hide behind it, is to lie sideways behind it, trying to be get off the ground, which is only possible with either a quirk or putting pressure onto the two pillars by stretching your limbs out, against the pillars, maintaining that same amount off force the entire time so you don't break them and/or slide down on them.

That is only possible if you are in a height range between 1'70 and 2 meters, with exactly these two limit values being the most optimal for this, but that was only the beginning, the difficulty in hiding behind the blackboard was now to ascend in this position, meaning that you would have to temporarily lessen the pressure of one of your limbs at a time to move up a bit.

All in all, trying to properly hide behind a blackbaord for an extended period of time was exhausting and probably not worth the time and effort you would have to put in to do this.

"Na - Nai, what the hell are you doing here? I am in the middle of the lesson!"

The secretary just stared at the teacher, making him gulp upon the sight of her glare.

He didn't know what the hell was wrong with that woman, but everytime he looked at her he got an ominous feeling from her.

For him the woman in front of him was pretty suspicious, just everything around her was shrowded in mystery. He even wondered why the headmaster would hire someone like her.

Though he had to admit that she was pretty competent.

Sweat slowly started to form on his forehead the longer she stared at him, before she finally decided to ignore him and walk past him, towards the girl that was hanging in between the sliding pillars of the blackboard.

"Ms. Seigi, you forgot your bag in the office."

"Oh, I did?"

Hearing this, the entire class fell over.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After that happened, the secretary just left the classroom again and Akane just wordlessly got off from the blackboard and sat on her seat, of course not forgetting to take her evaluation, quickly skimming over it, before putting it into her bag.

The entire class, including the teacher, were staring at her as if they saw a ghost, which was understandable, because she still needed intensive care in the emergency ward of a prestigious hospital yesterday evening.

"What are you all staring at me for? I know I am cute, but it's still embarassing when so many people stare at me."

In this moment the entire class had only one thought as they saw Akane fidgeting.

'Cute', was what run through their heads.

The moment they realized what they were staring all staring at her made them all self-conscious and so they all averted their gaze away from Akane.

With the attention now averted from her, Akane asked Aizawa a question.

"Aizawa-sensei, what did happen in yesterdays homeroom?"

Getting pulled out of his daze, Aizawa answered her.

"Oh, right. Yesterday was the vote for the class president. You got nominated, like the rest of the entire class. But at the end most of them chose to vote for you, but because you were sick we couldn't make it official yet."

Hearing this, Akane looked back at the class, just to notice that most of them were smiling and giving her a thumps up.

She was surprised. Akane was sure that in a school like UA the position for the class president would be seen as more than just as, well the position of a regular class president in a regular school. Like, more as a leader of a group, someone that would take the elad and inspire the class.

"Don't you get it? Your advice was just tailor fit for each of us and your overall performace was just so incredible that the entire class couldn't help themself, but think that you are more suited for the position than any of us have confidence in ourselfes to vote for ourselves!"

"I didn't!"

"Shut up Bakugou. Anyways, when even I am admitting it that you deserve the leadership position, then surely the class most think similarly, right?"

"Mina..."

Akane looked around the class, just to notice that everyone was averting her gaze the moment their eyes met.

"You sparkle more than me, so you deserve, the position that was made for me, more than me."

"There isn't a reason why I shouldn't vote for a cute girl like you!"

"The seat for class president really suits you."

"I really wanted to be class president, but if it's you, I think I can put my wish aside."

"Seigi, as you can see, the entire class sees you as a person that can handle a lot of responsibility and pull and carry each and everyones weight and worries with you, including me. We all hold you in great esteem and each of us already trust you, despite most of us only knowing you for a few days. As a democratic choice that reflects the will of the people you must have already realized what we think of you, right?"

For a moment, the class was silence was after Iidas speech.

"Iida, do you like holding speeches or something like that? Can't you speak like a normal person?"

"Oochako, a speech..."

Everyone was saying in their own way why they put aside their desire to be class president and instead voted for her.

Akane seemed to get embarassed from all of this and started to look down to the ground from all the embarassment, her bangs now covering her face.

Even Aizawa couldn't help himself, but to smile. This was a first for him in his career as a teacher in UA.

Hero schools had that nature where everyone in the class would fight for the leadership position and what better way was there, than taking the position that literally gives one the most responsibility for the class?

So everyone would automatically fight to be class president. It was the same as he was a student and that didn't change since he became a teacher.

Students would still fight to be class president, especially at a school like UA.

But seeing how everyone wanted one particular person as their class president.

It was just so heartwarming seeing this, but he couldn't let that show on his face. Yet.

"Class, calm down now! Seigi, you heard what the class wants. The only thing left in this problem is your consent to accept this position."

Everyone was agreeing to this statement in an excited way. They didn't know, but they all subcounsciouly wanted to see Akane cheeringly agree to this.

"I don't want to be class president though."

Which was why her answer was all the more surprising.

"²"EEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"²"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At a certain secretaries location:

"So, you want to talk about the problems we are currently facing?"

Nezu looked out of the window, seeing how reporters were walking over each other, trying to get into the school building.

Then he turned around, seeing the piles of paperwork, of course the magic files were under them.

Slowly wishing the sweat from his forehead, he looked up to Hisho.

"How about you demonstrate what YOUR magic ability is."

Silence ran through the room.

"You are trying to run from your responsibilities, aren't you?"

Sweat dripping intensified.

"What? No! Of course not! I am asking because this is very important research!"

Hisho now glared at him and his sweating just intensified.

"Grey magic..."

Why do I feel like I wasted an entire chapter?

It's probably because I wasted 1700 words because I didn't like where it went...
