Prologue: Preparing for a fresh start

The entity followed behind the teen waiting for him to stop. The entities eyes did not leave the teens person.

"Stop. I will now explain the boons and your restrictions. First of all, you will recieve a system, this system will allow you to progress more efficiently however, you will still need to put in effort to progress."

The teen felt grateful for this boon, it eased his worries on how he was going to advance in his new world.

"The system will explain itself when you're reincarnated. The system also serves the purpose of making sure you stay entwined with the fate or storyline of the world. This is vital"

While the teen was not dipleased about this, he was curious as to why. so he asked.

"Is there a reason it will keep me entwined?"

"Of course there is a reason boy, two to be exact. The first reason is that the system will adapt depending on your goals and it will issue personal quests depending on how it evolved. As for the second reason, its to make sure you leave an impact on the world for my experiment."

The words of the entity made the teen happy about its help but at the same time anxious about the thought of the experiment. As if sensing his worries again, the entity added on.

"It is too early for you to be aware of the experiment, maybe when you're stronger. Have you no worries, it will not negatively impact you as long as you're living as you wish"

His words eased the heart of the youth slightly. The entity continued on with his explanation.

"Listen boy. This is the most important part. You cannot under any circumstance reveal the system, my existence or your previous self. This is to ensure the world maintains balance. This is the only way you're able to retain your memories after you reincarnate."

The teen agreed with the entity as revealing any of these pieces of information could throw the entire world into turmoil, especially the idea of reincarnation.

"You may live life as you please, however your only order is to stay alive. There are some minor changes to the Pokemon world you know, Trainers do not leave for a journey until they're 16, not 10. Well there are more but we shall leave that to you to find out."

The teen was suprised by that small piece of information but in all honesty it made more sense than sending 12 year olds out into a world as dangerous as that.

"Now boy, you can go through that door to your new life. Live and remember my words."

With that, the eyes that had been constantly pressuring the teen vanished without a trace. The pressure left at the same instance and the teen felt a weight being removed from his non-existant body. The teen collected his thoughts and memorised the new information before mustering his courage. With this, he stepped through the now glowing door with a new determination in his heart.

To live as he wants, in his favourite world.

He was aware that the Pokemon world is not as perfect and cheery as its portrayed but he resolved himself to enjoy every minute of his life in such a beautiful world. Thoughts of future trials and adventures ignited a fire inside the nameless teens heart.

A feeling of cold wind blowing onto his skin assailed the teen as his consciousness slowly faded away.
