The party

At exactly 9pm the car arrived and drove all of them to the party,from afar they can hear sounds and music because the music was so loud. On reaching there Linda was shocked at what she saw,her legs couldn't move, as she alighted from the car, she whispered to Rita"wait is this party organized by students " "No!" replied Rita "is a friend's party I told you that before, look I can read your mind, don't be scared nobody is a vampire that will eat you up here,come on girls let's go in" she said turning to Betty who has been so excited and couldn't wait to enter the party, she got in their front and was walking majestically,men looking at her with their hungry eyes looking for an opportunity to lay with her.

immediately they got into the inner room,they became all eyes of this men as they were all looking at them, they became cynosure of all eyes. Being first year students, they were fresher's to the eyes of those men who couldn't hold back their admiration. Linda couldn't believe her eyes as this was her first time of entering into such place. Food everywhere.

They could perceive the smell of roasted chicken, barbecue,all kinds of food. Linda noticed the eyes of most men were on here,she became embarrassed as searched for a place to sit and hide but that didn't stop most of them from coming to her asking for a dance which she declined,she managed to get few numbers from them.

The party was still ongoing as most girls was seen dancing with those men in an unholy manner,some smoking, drinking, Linda couldn't help but to cover her nose to prevent herself from choking because of the smoke,she looked around and couldn't find Rita and Betty. They are all adults am sure they will be fine, she thought to herself. Few hours gone to the party people started retiring to their homes, Linda started on search for her two friends she came with for them to go home because she couldn't stay there any much longer.

At exactly 4am she saw the two of them coming out from a room. she immediately rushed to them "please take me home or back to the school I can't stay here any longer" Betty immediately cut her short "hey come on,party is not yet over" Betty looked at her roommate regrettably "look Betty I wasn't talking to you"

After much persuasion they agreed to follow her back home, on reaching there hostel, Betty said aloud "oh what a freedom, so I can actually come back by this time without anybody asking me were am I from,I think we need this more often, don't you think so Linda" Linda looking at her said " I don't know anything all I need right now is sleep because am tired " Betty looking at her and regretting why she asked that "I know you won't, is it not you again, anyways I had much fun today, I don't know about you, am also so exhausted" she said yawning. Linda ignored her,entered their room,dropped off her bag,clothes and jewelries straight to the wardrobe,headed towards the bed,laid down ,within a second, she slept off, the same with Betty. Rita on her own side, the driver dropped her on her own hostel

On a Sunday Morning, Doris wondering why they are not yet awake but seeing the way they slept off without removing their party clothes, she remembered and shook her head asking God to have mercy on them. but they have slept enough she has to wake them up

She went straight to the window and pulled down the blind, the early morning light shown on their eyes,they immediately woke up. Linda felt little bit uneasy on her health,as she was having a very severe headache, feeling so weak,she pulled the bed covers over her head and said " Yes Doris what is it this early morning can't it Wait because I am not ready for anything this morning " . Doris ignoring the question said "please aren't you girls come for church service today?"

" no not today, thank you "Betty said immediately she heard about the church service. Doris ignored her once again went to Linda's corner" look babe I really care about you, so please follow me to the church ". Linda turned her head over looking at her she said "no I don't think I make it today, maybe some other because I am not feeling too well this morning" Doris hearing what she said immediately " what is the problem, whatever it is please better be fine for me" Linda smiled "don't worry dear I will be fine and thanks for your concern" Doris smiled back and went over to Betty and said " tomorrow might be too late for you" Betty retorted back "I have heard you mother Theresa go and pray for us" Doris finally departed to church without uttering one word.

" Wait!" Sophie quickly interrupted,her mum looked at her, she remembered how she cut her mum short the first time,and immediately "am so sorry mum that I had to do this again,is just that I wanted to ask,did all of you graduate from the same university?" Linda smiled" calm down my daughter I have not gotten there yet,am still on it"

In no time Betty influenced Linda and she joined in there partying,clubbing, started associating themselves with the big men in town who in return showered them with much money.

As they entered third year,they continued non stop, Linda enjoyed everything one bit,that she got so used to the lifestyle

" mum please permit me to ask again " the inquisitive Sophie asked again, her mum replied" no problem my child " Sophie continued looking happy as she has been granted the permission to ask any question of her choice..
