Juan vs Madam Wang (2)

Lijuan took the first spoon and wrinkled her brows like she was trying to assess the meal before shrugging and picking up a piece of drumstick to take a big bite from it.

Even Yun who was sitting beside her was very surprised talk more of the others who just watched her as she ate from every bowl in front of her. 

"What are you doing right now?" Madam Wang who could no longer control her temper asked in a bitter voice. Never in her life had someone neglected her this way. She couldn't believe the little thief was eating even when no one else was and she had not even answered her questions!

Lijuan picked up a napkin to clean her mouth and hands before looking at Madam Wang.

"The meal is bland. It isn't half as tasty as I had expected it would be. What a waste of expectations." Lijuan muttered, pushing the plate away from her. She knew nothing would hurt Madam Wang as much as such a subtle, yet direct insult.
