First Shift Together Part 2

Calder just chuckled to himself as he wrote down another tables order. "She's so cute." He thought as he discreetly watched Syria wait on tables. "Sorry for the wait. Here's your order." Calder heard Syria say sweetly, making him smile over her cute tone. "Are you giving me a sincere apology?" A woman said in a snarky tone.

Calder froze, he wasn't expecting a customer to be so rude especially with how things had been progressing through out the day. Syria had surprisingly given her best to make sure everyone was having a pleasant time, a complete contrast of her life in the palace.

Calder looked back and saw Syria bowing to a small group of finely dressed ladies at a table. "I am very sorry for the wait." Syria said sincerely. A woman with long golden hair grabbed a cup of tea and sipped it. "Ack! Are you trying to scold me?!" She shouted as she dropped the cup away dramatically.
