Feeling of Safety

"Dearest, don't cry," Lu Nanfeng said, his heart was feeling flustered as he saw her looking sad. How had she been treated, for her, who was such a strong woman, to cry like a little child? 

Amidst his flustered feelings, Lu Nanfeng also felt a smoldering anger, a hatred, towards Mo Yunhuang and the Organization for treating her as a tool, for taking her prisoner.

He knew his Lixue well enough to know that she was not easily moved, and that it was very rare for her to show her sadness like this. The only reason he could think of was that she was overwhelmed with what had happened, that she was so relieved that she had escaped, that her emotions were now getting the better of her.

It was not completely correct, but she was not feeling that she had been mistreated by the Organization; however, when she saw Lu Nanfeng, her suspended heart settled in her chest, and she finally felt at peace, and at home.
