The dome-shaped magic barrier broke three seconds after receiving the ray of light from the mercenary mages' spell.

The group of adventurers was surrounded, and their numbers were half of the mercenaries, but they did not panic; on the contrary, they were still very confident in their power.

Most mercenaries acted as gangs and fought in an unorganized manner like the Black Hand Party. Still, Olivia realized that Red Lady's mercenaries were much better equipped than usual and acting in organized formations, like well-trained soldiers.

Olivia thought something was odd, but after all, Red Lady Party is Portgreen's most powerful mercenary group, so its elites were supposed to be made up of great soldiers, like many, who previously worked for Cassidy as royal guards.

Following Olivia's order, the adventurers split into small groups and went in the various directions of the mercenaries.
