1.13 Inheritor of the Golden Crow Bloodline
Before the boss attacked us I was trying to think of a plan. This was when Tyrant spoke up. "I wouldn't be able to use my shield to tank him. Those flames would probably melt my shield like its butter. It would be better if you Blade Dance, and Silent Night kited the boss while Cecilia and Storm back you guys up." Out of all of us, Tyrant has the most experience playing mmorpg's. He has raided dungeons before and on other games, he had commandeered dungeon raids so the others can say he is a suitable commander.
"Alright, I will lead the charge and get the first hit in. Blade dance, while I turn the boss around, you will hit him with a temple strike and then I will come in and use my rotation of skills before his stun is over. After that I will block his attack and you will switch and hit him with what ever you can. Silent Night you will come in at the same time as your sister and deal damage with her. I will try to keep its attention on me. How does this sound?" I was actually quite nervous listing oit instructions like this. I haven't ever worked with anyone to take down a boss before. I just thinking about what everyone is capable of and ut seemed that I would be the only one that could hold off the boss and keep his attention while also being fast enough so I don't actually have to parry and block. I would be able to dodge normal attacks just fine.
Tyrant said. "We'll try it out. There is no penalty for failing so don't worry too much if we can't compete it but give it everything you've got."
We all nod and start to move out. Me, Blade Dance, and Silent Night went into stealth and waited for Tyrant's signal.
"3... 2... 1... Go!" I sprung into action and then used Temple Strike and stunned the boss for 5 seconds. At this point Blade Dance and Silent Night come up and together we deal damage to the boss while he is stunned. When the stun was getting ready to wear off, I used a kidney shot and stunned the bos for another 5 seconds. The next time the stun was getting ready to wear off, Blade dance came up and hit Kairo with a Temple Strike. Although it was less effective than mine. It still stunned the boss for 3.5 seconds. We continued to deal damage while it was stunned until the stun almost wore off. Then Silent Night also hit the boss with a stun that stunned it for 4 seconds. We kept doing this and whittled down the boss's HP.
50%...40%...30%
When the boss got to 30%, it began to swallow all of the fire elements surrounding itself greedily. While it was doing this, a bright light began to form at the ceiling of the cave. My senses told me that the light in the sky was a terrifying thing that should stopped at all costs!
"Stop looking at that light. Use all of your highest damaging skill so we can interrupt that spell." Tyrant was very familiar with what this meant.
After using all of our skills, We were barely able to interrupt the magic spell the boss was preparing.
I was very curious what that thing was so I asked Tyrant. "What was the boss trying to do just now?"
"If I am not mistaken, that was the boss trying to activate a wiping skill. These skills usually test a team's cordination and DPS. We managed to luck out and prevented the boss from wiping us out... The boss is in a weakened state, just a little more and we can get the reward at the end.
After that we kept on damaging the boss until we finally...

I managed to level up twice and since I need less xp than the others to reach Level 20 I also got another one of these.

After we slayed Kairo, his body dissipated into light and the voice came back. "Well done adventures. Go and claim your prize. The outside world is awaiting you."
After hearing this, 5 treasure chest appeared in the room. It appeared that we will get our own loot.
I went ahead and opened my chest and a popup appeared on my screen.

It was a golden shortsword covered with golden flames. When I touched it at first, It took away 1/3rd of my healthbar. I hurriedly put the sword away into my inventory so I wouldn't end up dying. After doing so, I took a look at the next item.

Since I couldn't use it right now, I put it in my bag and picked up a very warm vial
When I picked it up, a text prompt popped onto my screen.

I clicked yes as I was curious what it would do. I hadn't ever heard of bloodlines being in this game. I might be the 1st person to get one.

After pressing yes, the fire elements started to make their way towards me. I started to sweat from the heat and it even started to burn slightly.

At this point, I was in a great deal of pain. I could still deal with it but the pain seemed to increase as time went on...

At this point, I became numb to the sweat evaporating on my body, my mind was hazy and my body suddenly burst into flames but I couldn't feel that either.

At this point, the pain had just started to recede and the flames began to glow brighter.
My mind became clearer and my body was filled with power.

At the end, I was lying on the floor and breathing very hard. I was sweating buckets and my skin was red. I didn't realize it until now but everyone gathered around me with looks of worry.
"What the hell was that?" Storm asked. It was the question on everyone's mind. I wanted to ask that question too.
"I don't know but what ever it was, it was very painful. Did you guys get a bloodline?"
"Bloodline? What is that? Was that what lit you on fire?" Blade Dance was thanking her lucky stars that she didn't get anything like that. She felt that she wouldn't be able to make it through something like that.
"Yeah-" I was gonna say more when 2 prompts came up.

This is the Flame of the Golden Crow. The flame that holds the most destructive power. It is hard to put out for anyone except the owner of the flame.

When I saw these, I smile appeared on my face. I clicked yes without hesitation.
After I clicked yes, my egg that was in my inventory floated in the air and the flame that surrounded me earlier suddenly burst out again. My friends were quite frightened and moved back 20 meters. Only then did they feel safe. When they check their health bars and their armor durability, they wanted to cry but their tear ducts had been dried by the heat.
The flames that burst out began to move towards and encircle the egg.
After looking at this picturesque spectacle for
3-4 minutes, I heard the sound of a shell cracking and the sound of a bird calling out.
