Baldr and Asura

Two years pass as Arthur was learning how to be a Bowman under Hou Yi's tutelage who was quite proud to see his student improving this fast.

Arthur passed some of his most difficult obstacle courses when he says, "It seems our time is almost over. I have seen that everyone gifted you something so far."

"You don't have to if you don't feel like it," says Arthur as Hou Yi shook his head.

"No, I have the perfect gift for you," says Hou Yi as he summoned an egg in his hand and continues, "You will need a loyal courier, he will be the most loyal one."

Hou Yi hands over the egg and Arthur looked at it when Hou Yi takes an arrow and pierces Arthur's finger making blood fall onto the egg. It begins to shine and a chicken breaks out of it.

The chicken was completely black but Hou Yo says, "A Black Eagle, I really thought it would be a Golden Crow but I think the Black Eagle might be better for you."

"A Black Eagle," says Arthur holding only a chicken in his hand not really seeing a difference when Hou Yi nods.

He takes the Black Eagle back and says, "I will give it to Shura to raise it for you since it will need many things you won't be able to get here."

"But you should give it a name," says Hou Yi as the chicken was quite against leaving Arthur.

"Lightning," says Arthur as he looked at the chicken while continuing, "If he will be a Black Eagle, Shadow would be a good name since he would be invisible in the night sky."

"Shadow," says Hou Yi as the chicken seemed happy with its name when Hou Yi took a closer look at the chicken having a smile on his face saying, "It's a good name. I hope that Shadow will be a loyal companion in all your lives."

Hou Yi closed his eyes as he sighs because he was feeling someone approaching and says, "I should leave Baldr is almost here and I don't want to fight against him while carrying Shadow."

But it seemed to be too late as Baldr arrived on the training ground and wanted to have a fight. Baldr rushed at Hou Yi who evades everything while holding Shadow who seemed to be in a panic when suddenly a hand stopped the fist of Baldr.

"It seems he sent his lapdog instead of coming himself," says Baldr as he looked at the one who stopped him and sees Alfred.

"I really didn't want to interfere but my master asked me to," says Alfred as he was quite angry because he was crushing Baldr's fist in his hand making Baldr smile.

"You know that this doesn't hurt me," says Baldr as Alfred smiles.

"But I can still kill you easily," says Alfred as he grabs Baldr by the neck and begins to slowly put pressure on it.

"That should be enough, Alfred," says Shura who appears on the training ground while continuing, "I know that you are angry but don't let it out on Baldr."

Alfred let go of Baldr who takes some deep breaths when Hou Yi walked over to Shura handing him the chicken. Shura takes it and smiles since he could see through what it was and says, "Hou Yi, time for you to leave."

Hou Yi disappeared leaving only four on the training ground when Shura says, "Baldr if it repeats again you won't leave even after completing your task."

Shura was already walking in with Alfred while saying, "Now then an interesting fellow hatched out of the egg."

Shura was petting it knowing that it will be interesting to see the future of both as he entered the Palace.

Baldr was holding his broken hand that was slowly regenerating when he says, "Well, this wasn't the best start. How about we begin from anew. I'm Baldr like Tyr I'm a Nordic God. As you could see I don't use a weapon but my body."

Baldr shows some moves to Arthur before saying, "I learned Martial Arts that's why I'm stuck here since I went to Midgard and learned them from the best of the best in their art."

"So Martial Arts," says Arthur as Baldr nods.

"Yes, don't look down on it. Once the enemy is too near to use a weapon only your body will be your last wall of defense. I will be teaching you that," says Baldr as suddenly a Gi appears in his hands and throws it at Arthur.

"Put that on we will begin with Karate," says Baldr as he mastered all Martial Arts on Earth before he was put in the Warriors Realm.

"Every month we will change Martial Art so you won't even sleep without training trust me," says Baldr as he begins to show Arthur some Katas after Arthur changed into his Gi.

The training was harder than before as Arthur needed not only to adapt faster but even when he was sleeping his body wasn't because he was in his Mindscape training with Baldr.

The next month they trained Capoeira and the month after that Taekwondo before learning Jui-Jitsu and Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. Arthur was learning hard and thanks to the flexibility he gained from Hermes' training he adapted faster in Martial Arts.

"You seem to make quite the improvement with Martial Art. Not as fast as I did since I learned everything in a month but for a mortal not so bad," says Baldr as he walks over and takes a stance and says, "Next is Chinese Martial Arts."

The end of the training was approaching and Baldr was sparring with Arthur as usual when he grabs Arthur's shoulder and throws him against a wall saying, "You need to form your style soon."

"I can't yet. Wukong and the others told me to wait until I learned everything from all my teachers," says Arthur as Baldr nods.

"Well alright then," says Baldr as he walks over to Arthur and helps him up putting his hand on Arthur's shoulder.

Energy entered his body and suddenly pain followed him as Baldr smiles at him before the pain stopped and says, "That's my gift to you."

"What gift?" asks Arthur as he was feeling pain all over his body when Baldr takes his hand and stretches his arm before hitting his elbow.

Arthur closed his eyes knowing that his elbow would break once again because of Baldr but he only felt pain for a short while when he opens his eyes and sees his arm was still intact.

"How?" asks Arthur as Baldr smiles.

"Reinforced Bones even a God would have a bad time in breaking those," says Baldr as he let's go of Arthur before taking his stance and says, "Let have one more go before your next teacher arrives."

Arthur and Baldr had another go while someone was watching them when Baldr stood over Arthur as Victor and says, "You can come out Asura."

Arthur looked around when suddenly a Demon with four arms appeared in front of them. The Demon suddenly retracted two of his arms and his body became smaller as he looked like a normal human now.

"I let you enjoy your little fight be happy that I didn't intervene beforehand. Now leave I have to teach that Mortal how to fight with a Halbert and Glaive," says Asura as he walked toward both.

Baldr takes a stance before rushing at Asura when Shura appears and stops Baldr while saying, "I will overlook this. Asura it's your turn. Don't forget I'm always watching."

"I will remember it," says Asura as a wooden halbert appears in his hand. He throws it towards Arthur while saying, "We will begin right away. The faster you learn the better it will be for both of us."

Asura had a black halbert in his hand as he begins to move showing his beginner moves to Arthur while Shura and Baldr leave for the Palace as Shura says, "You made it as interesting as all the other ones."

"What do you mean?" asks Baldr as he sees Shura's smile.

"He will become a monster before he enters the battlefield. It will be interesting to see who he will gain as a follower," says Shura as he entered his office with Baldr who sees the Black Eagle.

"Is that-," asks Baldr when Shura nods interrupting him.

"That's right, this is Shadow. He is still not fully grown for a Black Eagle that has the blood of a Phoenix and Golden Crow. But keep that to yourself," says Shura as he petted Shadow who watched out of the window seeing Arthur from there.

"You will meet your master soon enough. But for now, eat your food and grow bigger," says Shura as he gave Shadow the best food for him.

"Now then time to leave Baldr," says Shura as he waves his hand and Baldr disappeared.

Arthur was on the training ground practicing with the Halbert when he asks, "Why are you in the Warriors Realm?"

"Like everyone else, I broke the rules and was sent here as punishment. You don't want to know why I was sent here trust me," says Asura as he didn't want to tell Arthur why he was sent to the Warriors Realm.

After two years of training under Asura, Arthur was fighting against Asura in a spar and surviving it until Asura feels someone approach and asks, "You got a gift from everyone right?"

"Yes," says Arthur as he looked at Asura who put his hand on Arthur's shoulder.

"Where you are going many will try to kill you as they tried to kill me. They will use any possible way to achieve it. Do you want to know why I'm stuck here," says Asura as Arthur was feeling entering his abdomen.

"My wife poisoned me and allowed my enemies to kill me. I sold my soul to a Demon and turned into said Demon. My gift will be immunity to poison. So it doesn't happen to you what happened to me," says Asura as he takes his hand back.
