Lory didn't think it was a bad idea, but she needed to talk to Victor about it. "Let me call you back," she hung up and walked over to Victor.

"There is a way to save you from all this, but keep in mind it will be risky. But I think you can trust my word more than Arlo Chawthorne's, don't you think?"

"Not only me but all my subordinates are affected by this cursed device, right?" This is what Victor hoped for though he didn't show it in his face.

"Obviously?" Lory replied firmly. 

Victor lowered his gaze, even though this was the best option for them, it would still be a risky move to challenge Luxemborough. However, he could not trust a country that used undermining tricks to force them to submit. 

The choice is clear, Victor raised his gaze "So what's the plan?"
