[Lucius's Gift]

His purple eyes focused on the small writing on top of the page, the it moved down. Looking at the series of names and abilities.

"Mind manipulation"

That was Lucius's Gift, although it seemed weak, he could essentially control someone's mind to do anything, make new memories, erase those memories and look through them. Since Lucius's Gift was more focused on the mind, he trained his body so that he was able to fight on par with Axel. Maybe it was in his genes but he was talented in swordsmanship, but it wasn't enough to beat Axel, he had to use puny techniques to beat him, to feel superior. Leaving a large sigh Luca scratched his head in frustration and looked up, his eyes naturally moved towards Axel. A boy with black hair and bright blue eyes sitting in front of the classroom, chatting with his half-brother Noah. Feeling like someone was looking at him, Axel turned his head towards the source to see Luca, staring at him, he immediately frowned and turned back. Luca was surprised seeing that Axel noticed him, but what confused him was why Lucius was so obsessed with Axel. He shook his head and continued to read his notebook.

These are the people whom he had met now and are important later on in the novel. 5 minutes before the bell the teacher stood up to take in the papers, Luca quickly closed his notebook, and continued to doodle, the teacher took his papers and looked at his drawings, she paused for a bit and continued on.

Back at home, (in a large mansion) Luca lay his head and arms on the table and let out a big yawn. Aden quickly walked over and handed him a cup of tea. The room was silent for a few seconds then a series of footsteps broke it. Noah walked into the study and looked around, he found his brother then made his way closer to him.

"Sorry am I bothering you? I want to talk for a bit", he asked

"Ya, you are bothering me"

Ignoring Luca, Noah silently sat down.

"It's about the money... Is it possible if I borrow some"

"Yeah sure", an immediate response.

"But-"

"What do you mean but, I'm filthy rich, I can give you as much money as I want now!"

"You don't know what I'm going to use it for!"

"Meh, probably using it for some intelligence agency or something.."

"How did you know...?"

"I know everything! A lot more than you think, I'm not stupid you know"

Noah put up a dumbfounded expression, while Luca just chuckled. 'Of course I know, since the agency you make will become the best one, and I want to reap some of these benefits',

"Ehem, So about the money", Noah continued with a fake cough.

"50-50, I'll help you with the agency but we will split it evenly"

"...Fine, but we can't tell grandfather"

"Sure, here"

Luca took out the suitcase of money and handed it to Noah. Noah silently took it and thanked him.

"I'll help find some people, you can begin starting it up, tell me if you need anything", Luca added.

"Roger", after those final words Noah left.

'Now to find these people', Luca thought, subconsciously releasing an evil grin. He took out his notebook and walked out of the room.

Noah who just left after his conversion with Luca still felt amazed.

'Luca had changed, even though he still a jerk, he was much more... smart? No- he was always smart. But something about him is different. A good kind of different, now my brother is finally showing his true colours'

Noah though excitedly, his purple eyes twinkled and he let out a bright grin.

'But Wait... why did he have the suitcase on him just then...?'
