"How about a wager Ignis?" asked Headmaster Oak
"Sure! I'm rather confident in my daughter. What do you want to wage?" Ignis confidently said.
"How about you share with me the elemental fist spell you made if my student Eden wins?" smiled Headmaster Oak.
One of the best ways for elemental users to gain more skills is to acquire them from other elementalists or have it passed down through families. If you would ask a well known elementalist what would be the most important thing they have in their posession, it would be their spells first and magical treasures second.
Due to the many variables of spell structure, there were an infinite amount of possibilities when it comes to the creation of spells. One could say that even if two elemetalists casted what appeared to be the same spell, they could be entirely different due to the makeup of their spell structures. Despite the fact that it is a wide open playing field in terms of spell creation, many elementalists are very secretive about their spells. Knowing your enemy would often give one an advantage during battle.
Spells are time consuming to create and keeping them hidden would allow elemental users to hide their own strength.
High level spells were rare to see on the market, only when an elementalist was truly in dire straits would they often then attempt to sell their spell formulas. Through most of the the Rivenhart Kingdom, one would simply be able to buy level 1 spells that were relatively basic in spell structure. The chance of finding a spell of a higher level was very seldom seen.
"What do you have that is worth my Combustion Fist spell?" Ignis responded kindly.
"I'll give your daughter this Ruby necklace of the Flame Ape, a 4th Tier magical beast, for her cultivation. This would add greatly to her power no?" Headmaster Oak said pulling out the necklace.
"Deal." Ignis put out his hand.
Magic accessories were constantly in high demand. Items such as the ruby necklace would allow one to store their mana in it and have more mana on hand for emergency situations and increase battle prowess.
The two shook on the deal.

As the sun was fading and night would soon arrive, An onlooking crowd in the Border Town Square was watching Eden and Adara's standoff. Fights never really broke out in Border Town and security is relatively lax. Guards who were placed in the Town Square decided to let the conflict escalate as long as no one was seriously injured.
'So this thief has the fire element huh' thought Eden.
If two elemental users were at the same level, one factor that could cripple a user was having an element which was weak to another. Eden was at a complete disadvantage due to having the plant unique trait and he was up against a fire user. If Eden was facing off against a water Elementalist, his plant based element would have been able to absorb the water elements. However, let it be known that despite elemental weaknesses, true strength is still able to over come that disadvantage.
Eden began to cast his spell Leaf Barrage. Leaves were formed by Eden's side and were sent flying to his opponent.
SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!
Adara's clutched her fists. They began to immediately light up on fire. She punched at the incoming leaves and incinerated them leaving herself unharmed.
As the barrage of leaves were incinerated, Eden casted entangle to hold Adara in her place.
"Silly plant elementalist, your skills are useless against me! You should've just sold me the bird!" yelled Adara subsequently used her hands to burn away the vines attempting to bind her.
Adara ran up to her and threw a flaming fist at Eden which was barely dodged by him. However, Adara immediately threw a kick afterwards which caught Eden in the ribs. Eden was sent flying a few feet away.
"Too slow! How do you expect to get back your bird!" Adara yelled.
Eden got up slowly. He was surprised at Adara's speed.
"This fight isn't over and it won't be until you hand over what you took" said Eden as he brushed the dirt off of him.
"Hah I'd like to see you try and stop me. We may be the same age, but theres no way you'll ever be stronger than me!" goaded Adara.
Adara had already displayed a better physical capability and power than Eden. With the elemental disadvantage, Adara believed that she had already obtained victory.
Eden casted leaf barrage to distract Adara. Adara bruteforced the barrage of leaves and burned them to ashes.
Adara then quickly countered by rapidly jumping towards Eden before he could move and landed another kick to his side. Eden once again flew a few feet away.
"Too easy! Just lay down and accept your loss. I'll still be nice and pay for the sculpture if you want." smired Adara.
Eden got up slowly with a smile on his face. "Didn't I say that you haven't won yet?"
"HMPH! From what it looks like, I'm the one standing and you are the one eating dirt!" Adara replied. "I'm gonna go and put an end to this right now!"
Adara casted several fireballs and sent them towards Eden's direction.
Boom! Large amounts of dust formed where the fireballs landed. When the dust finally cleared, nothing could be seen where the fireballs landed.
The moon could be seen shining in the sky.
I've been slow on my updates, I am currently out travelling so I have not been able to have time to write anything.
