COMMON SENSE

Both were sitting inside the carriage in silence.They were traveling for about one hour silently without looking at each other.The questions stuck in William's head were hitting his brains like drums.Whenever he tried to gather courage and tried to open his mouth that instance Anne will suddenly look at him and he.....Shhhh!

They had just passed by the riverside.Anne saw it and she smiled.She could see the children playing with snow and the rays of the setting sun falling on them like heaven's blessings , and their mothers sitting under the tree and chatting.Never could a scene be this beautiful. Infact no one from her generation could see the scenery, she suddenly felt she was lucky but all she wished for was to return home.

Anne was still enjoying the scenery outside when William suddenly said "Do you still feel sorry for him?"(avoiding eye contact).She said "Do you not?".He was spooked, of course he didn't know that he would be questioned back, he said "Yes I do", Anne knew that the actual answer was just opposite to this, she said "And everyone does"(silence).

After a few hours they reached the kingdom, William got down first and then thought about giving her his hand, before he could act she already helped herself and got down.His cousin Dew saw both of them and came towards them.He reached and greeted them both. He wanted to mock William so he said, "Well cousin, I think you should have helped our beautiful lady in getting down." William immediately sensed it and said,"Cousin you know me well, I am a Prince, and I don't want to help people those are capable, they should have bought maids if they think they are weak."Anne understood that the whole thing was about her.She spoke, "I didn't ask you to help me, you are ridiculous"(son of a b*).He looked at her towards the corner of his eyes and said "Nobody mentioned you", Anne (Do you take me as a fool kid!) "You know what William , there is something that I have that's completely absent in you, do you want to know". William said in a tone of mockery "Please enlighten me my kind lady." She said ,"Common sense". Immediately after hearing this his cousin Dew ordered the servants to carry her luggage to her room, he knew that if both of them were allowed to stay a bit longer together he will be inviting danger upon himself.
