Introducing the topic

What can be agreed upon completely is that if the American war of independence had been lost by the patriots and British rule continued over these colonies that history would dramatically change, the United States which is the worlds strongest nation today would not exist and due to the resources and wealth in this region it is possible that for one that controlling the 13 colonies at a minimum would give the British empire the wealth it would need to prevent the collapse of its empire. This wealth would likely slingshot the empires military technological advancement and put it further ahead of other countries at this time however I am not implying that this would cause them to reach such advanced technologies without time as even with such funds from the resources located within the 13 colonies the Empire would still face the same problems that caused its collapse in the first place however this Tim with the increased power it would be more likely for the empire to hold out against these problems and advance even further making it a even stronger superpower than the US. This then would only been a few steps away from world colonisation or at least domination by the British empire which would lead to the scenario that I will put forth within this book.
