Stygian Witches

Alke's currently staring at Setoria not knowing what to say. His intended future for Jaselle, he knows it won't happen. Jaselle's existence is ticking time bomb. Once she is found by others, it will ignite her life to the path of war and suffering.

Alke looked up and took a deep breath.

"She was destined to suffer back then ... that's why I took her to escape her fate. Now, it's the same". Alke solemnly looked at Jaselle's direction while thinking what to do.

Just as he was thinking of a solution, he sudenly recalled his own past. Full of tragic battles and there were many times his life was almost taken away from him. However, he did not fear anything or anyone but now, what has he become?

" Ha ha ha haha ha ".

The sound of Alke's laugh shocked Setoria. His eyes were filled not with the usual boredom but it shows excitement for battle. His usual demeanor for these past years can't be seen anymore. He flicked his fingers just like before and Jaselle and Setor appeared beside him.

"Jaselle, can you take a look at yourself using that river? I'll calm the water for you."

At this point. Teleportation no longer shocked Jaselle. She remembered her excitement about her gifts and she hurriedly ran to the nearby river a few steps away. As she takes a look, she gradually saw her reflection as the water slowly calms down.

Alke and Setoria upon hearing Jaselle has the spirit of the Stygian witches smiled while Setor tried to remember where he heard the name before.

"I remember now! A long time ago three kind, blind witches existed that amazed even us Gods with their knowledge. They all shared a mystical eye which we weren't able to get any information of but they used it to guide us to the correct path. A God one day decided to take the mystical eye away from them but the three witches were gone. They were speculated to be able to see the future and Gods searched everywhere for them. However, the eye nor their bodies were found by anyone." Setor thought of everything he could remember but that was all.

"Jaselle, that's already something we know and we look forward to it. Don't worry about it at the moment and check for other things." Setoria calmed Jaselle down and she started to look again in her reflection.

Jaselle blushed upon seeing the description. Alke was currently paying extra attention to her at the . He was sure this time to notice anything about Jaselle while she uses her powers. Seeing the redness in her face, Alke felt alarmed and asked "Jaselle, are you feeling okay?"

" Yes! I'm fine! I'm busy please wait! Don't interrupt me!" Jaselle answered as quickly as she can and decided to skip that part.

Jaselle didn't mind the removal of the mutated resonance. She knows Gods have a way of communicating with each other. She just needs to ask them how.

"I have a resonance skill but it says the word Miracle before it. It was given by the spirit of the sword saying that I need it. It was what I used to speak to you before Alke!" Jaselle was excited to mention this one. She remembered Alke was curious about how they were able to communicate before and she was expecting a praise. However, all that awaited her was a serious face of Alke.

"What's wrong Alke?"

"That magic, try not to use it at all. It must be kept secret at all cost." Alke answered Jaselle with a fierce glare. Jaselle didn't ask more about it and just nodded. There were no magic involved but Jaselle felt consequential crisis in Alke's tone.

"Mii.. Mirra.. Miracle?!" Setor shouted followed by a punch from Setoria.

"Shut up and read the mood". Soter didn't say a word even though he wants to know more. all he did was touch his cheeks punched by Setoria.

Alke still remained serious at the moment. "You have one last thing to look at. Whether I decide to let you take part or not. Tell me about your treasure".

"It's time for me to let you know." Alke flicked his finger and they were back to the most familiar room... where they first met. Jaselle already knows a serious talk is about to begin.
