"Amy", Alice whispered as she nudged Amy, "I am scared."
"Why?" Amy, had her arms crossed as she crossed her legs, "It's not the first time you are facing the camera, right?"
"Yeah, but still...", Alice sighed, "So many people are out there. That's scary."
"Shit", Amy chuckled.
"Miss", the assistant came forward with a folder, "Next will be your turn to shoot."
"Okay", she smiled at him as if nothing happened.
"You should be an actress, you know", Amy referred to her barefaced drama.
"You too", Alice grinned evilly, "Remeber when you pretended to be my assistant."
"I won't forget it, anyway", Amy grinned back.
"Miss Alice", the director suddenly called as he turned his odd-looking chair, "It's your turn now. I bet you got your script. Let me explain it to you."
"Sure", she stood up and glanced at Amy. She nodded reassuringly.
She gracefully walked up to the director as all eyes followed her.
Just then, Amy's phone vibrated again. She pulled it out with extreme irritation. Very soon, everyone aw her exiting the studio.
Amy unlocked her phone and saw what it was. There, again! This, D.K., like he had promised himself that he would not leave her and her daughter alone. She saw his latest message without opening it, 'Your daughter has been ill since that day you took her away. Am I right? Do you know what it is? Do you know what happened to her? Forget it. I won't tell you unless you call back.'
Amy was damn furious right now. She hurriedly searched through her list of contact and dialed D.K.'s number. The moment, the line got through, she started yelling on the phone, "Are you trying to threaten me?"
A peal of clear laughter rang out from the phone, "Seriously, Amy. Why will I get if a threaten you? Nothing, right? Nothing."
"Then?" Amy was panting, "What did you do to my daughter?"
"Your daughter?" D.K. laughed again, "That's our daughter, okay? Correct yourself. Miracle is our daughter."
"You bet!" Amy yelled again, "Yes, she is our daughter. But, have you ever consider it once when you left us all these years alone? Have you or have you not? Or you will say that your conscience was in disguise or hibernation."
"Seriously, Amy", D.K. chuckled, "You made me amazed from time to time."
"Yeah, and you?" she snorted, "You hurt me from time to time."
"Amy", he sounded quite serious, "Whatever has happened between us. Let's forget about that and start anew."
"Seriously, Dylan. Are you out of your mind?"
"You asked what I had done to your daughter. It's all your fault, Amy. It's your fault. She has been pining away because you were unbelievable while scolding and because you kept her away from me."
"Oh! Really? You are the one being unbelievable."
"What do you mean? Did I kidnap her or something?"
"No! No, you didn't. But, you are a terrible father."
"Terrible? Father? Have I been given the chance t be her father? Ever?"
Amy felt speechless by his words and pursed her lips uncomfortably. Then, she spoke with a low voice, "You never wanted to be one. Did you?"
"Did I ask you to abort back then? Did I run away from my responsibility in any way? I have told you that I was forced to leave."
