Book Three: Chapter Seven: Shiro and Megumi

The last time, Yumi's father, Shiro Yukimoto on the Ten Divine Generals. He comes to see what is going on. When he approached Megumi, the air in the area went still, as if they were about to fight.

Why are you thinking about coming out here? Megumi asked. I wanted to scope out what was going on. Shiro replied. He turns around. Hello Haru and Ichiko. Hello everyone. Shiro replied. Everyone said hello. Yumi, you're coming home now. Shiro replied. Dad, you have sheltered me ever since the "accident". Yumi replied. What did I just tell you. Shiro replied. You are teaching these children to be rebels, vigilantes. Shiro replied. I am not teaching these six anything on those lines. Megumi replied. So you say, my daughter is acting like you know. Shiro replied. I mean, I know how her future plays out, anyway. Megumi replied. What did we tell you about that ability of yours? Shiro replied. I really could careless. Tell Sophia if she comes after these kids. She will deal with me personally. Megumi replied. She turned around and her eyes turned blue. You won't attack us by yourself. Remember how that worked last time? Shiro replied. He laughed. Shiro walked away and scattered in the wind.

I haven't seen her looked like this since the three of us were betrayed by the people we had faith in.

Yumi, what kind of magic does your father use? Natsumi asked. My dad uses a higher level version of my magic. I inherited his magic. My sister uses a type of Star Magic. Yumi replied. That magic and physical prowess is why he is one of the Ten Generals. Megumi replied. Hey Megumi, why does the Ten always have it in for you? I asked. In my late teens, I was a convicted felon. Megumi replied. Wait, you were a convicted felon? Everyone asked. Now your sketchy behavior buddies are making sense. Minori replied. What sketchiness? Those are all my buddies who were my clients. Megumi replied. Clients? Emma asked. Megumi has always cool with connections. Yumi replied. Other than revealing some of my past. We need to get Ichiko and Yumi's Imperial Treasures back from the Ten Generals. Megumi replied. My mother has my powers in her possession. Ichiko replied. My dad has my imperial treasure. Yumi replied. Damn, we are going to be in a bind now. I replied. What do you mean? It's an infiltration mission, right? Emma asked. No, I have been to HQ before with Izanami. Those ten have terrifying power. Minori replied. The ones that will be the most trouble are Gabriel, Shiro, Shion and Mashiro. You probably never seen those four. Megumi replied. Why are you afraid of my dad and Haru's dad? Natsumi asked. Before they came, your mellowed out father's they were Captains of Units One through Four. I was a cadet on Shiro Yukimoto's squad, Yumi's father. Megumi replied. So why are you two on bad terms? I asked.

As I asked that question, we saw the hatred in her eyes.
