WHAT WE REALLY ARE

ShenYi looked up and saw the man in front of him.

His face were contrasting with the sunlight, therefore making his face dimmer. Still, it gave him stronger presence.

ShenYi's frowned brows relaxed when she recognized the man infront of her.

"Zhang Feng!" She pounced a hug on him.

Zhang Feng stiffened when he felt ShenYi's arms wrapped around him. He felt the warmth from her body emanating throughout his.

Feeling Zhang Feng's stiffness, ShenYi snapped out her senses. She almost wanted to knock herself off for being too impulsive. She immediately retracted from the hug and smiled awkwardly.

"Why did you stop? You missed me that much?" Sensing that ShenYi moved away, he felt disappointed.

"Ahem, I'm just surprised." She said while staring at his eyes, concealing the shyness from earlier.

"Then I would surprise you everytime so I could get a hug."

"Hey, why do we kept on talking like this? Can we just talk normally?" ShenYi retorted back.

Seeing ShenYi's pouty face without her trying, Zhang Feng snickered and brushed her hair.

Howbeit, when ShenYi tried to move away, Zhang Feng's eyes narrowed when he saw a bruise near her collarbones.

ShenYi was wearing a white v-neck shirt tucked inside a denim short. Her collarbones were exquisitely exposed. It was easy for Zhang Feng to saw it.

"What happened to that?" His eyes were focused unto her bruise.

"Ah! Nothing! It's just, I met a holdaper along the way." She quickly explained.

'Ai, why does it seem like she just met a child holdaper earlier? She isn't frightened at all.' Zhang Feng thought.

"It seems like I cannot bear leaving you alone." Zhang Feng uttered.

"Uhm, with that..."

Seeing that Zhang Feng was still staring deeply, she continued.

"That.... Aha! Don't worry! A muscled man saved me. He said it's an order from the boss. Hmm, I know it's from you. Thank you." ShenYi bowed lightly.

This words made Zhang Feng even confused.

'Xi Jin haven't told me anything about the incident. He isn't masculine. Who's that muscled man? Could it be, from He MingZi?'

Looking at the man who was in deep thought, ShenYi waved her hand in front of his face.

"Hey! I'm okay now! Don't bother yourself much."

'Ai, why do I feel like I'm being doomed girlfriend? It's harder than pleasing a baby.' ShenYi was having a cold sweat.

While standing straight in front of him to show that she's okay, Zhang Feng's long arms embraced her body.

"I'm sorry."

ShenYi was confused, "What sorry? You don't have to say sorry, you still saved me. I'm okay now." She didn't retracted from his embrace but instead she patted Zhang Feng's back to coax him.

Zhang Feng tightened the hug in response.

After pulling out from the embrace, ShenYi asked him something.

"Uhm, why are you here?"

"Why can't I be here? Let's go." Zhang Feng took of his coat and placed on ShenYi's shoulders.

"Huh?"

"You're wearing a thin shirt. Cover yourself with that."

ShenYi, "Oh, hao."

"I'm stuffed now." ShenYi rubbed her stomach.

"Do you want more?"

"Eh, you're making me fat!"

"I like it no matter what size you are." Zhah Feng winked at her.

The two continued to walk. However, ShenYi was still uncomfortable thinking about something.

"Zhang Feng ah." ShenYi stopped in front of the bench.

"Hmh?"

"What really is your intention?"

"What intention?"

ShenYi continued, "You're words..... they're sweet. You're good to me. But, I didn't know what really we are."

After the man left, He MingZi received an email.

'Heh, that's why. I've got a new rival.' He MingZi left his desk, walk towards the window and lit his cigarette.

As he started to smoke, a girl barged into her room.

"Big Brother! I have a good news for you!" He MingXin shouted happily.

He MingZi let out a doting smile at her and walked towards He MingXin.

"Ahem, Big Bro! I thought you've already quitted smoking. I hate that tobacco smoke. Is there something wrong?" He MingXin covered her nose.

"Nothing much." He nonchalantly answered.

"Aish, alright! I'm going to tolerate once, but not again!" He MingXin pouted her lips.

"You already knew who's your knight and shining armor that time?" He MingZi brought back the first topic.

"Yes! You've guessed right!" Forgetting the smoke thing, He MingXin sat on his office chair and spun around joyfully.

After spinning around, she stopped in front of his desk and her gaze fell on his laptop.

He MingXin froze when she saw the familiar profile on the screen.
