What Happened to Me? (2)

Lilith could see about ten soldiers standing separated from the dark bloody river, even being twenty feet away from the river, she could still smell the dead corpse and stench that seemed to smell almost new.

She looked to her left, where two archers, Tom and Zavala, signal Lilith that there were more guards, more to the south. She looked past the guards and saw five guards surrounding two hostages, one looked in their eighties and the other looked like in their twenties.

"Are they the royals here?"

Lilith signal back before she went back to the other who decides to join her on the operation. She didn't look the fittest out of them but she was the most prepared, some of them only had scythe or a small dagger that was very blunt. She observed the small group, most were male but there was only two female. She sighed started to say, "We got eyes on two hostages, ten are n front of us and five surrounding the hostages. I want two of you to help out the archers and the rest to slowly advance the hostages."

She tossed a magical gem in front of one of the women: "Tossed it high in the are if things aren't going well, it makes a high pitch sound that can most definitely reach me."

One of the women picked it up and put it in her pocket on her leather suit, she nodded in understanding what Lilith had asked her to do. Lilith smiled, she rarely did but this had to, to boost the young lady's spirit.

"Alright!" Lith shouted. "Now that you know what to do, get to it and do not alert the guards in front of us."

"How?" shouted one of the men in the back. "You're basically sending them to their death."

"Cayde, was it?" Lilith looked at the cloaked male. "If you're so confident then why don't you take them out right now?"

Cayde froze and didn't reply. Lilith sighed and signal them to move out, she planned to take out the ten guards that were standing in her way. She knew that these people wanted to do something to these so-called "protectors".

Lilith moved back in her position and gave Tom and Zavala the signal to move up, she never operated an army but she always thought it would be just like herding sheep. To her expectation, it was lacking something and she knew why. Confident, Cayde wasn't wrong about her sending them to an impossible mission but she believed in them, she knew that her father would have done the same.

"Hey, Lilith," spoke Alpha. Lilith was looking at one of her kunai and she noticed that the wolf head engraved in the center of the blade. "You can teleport to the location of your weapon, even in the air."

Lilith sharpened her eyes a little bit more on her kunai before she started smiling: "Hehe, purrfect."

"D-Did you just purr?" Alpha questioned. Lilith nodded before getting ready for her part, she waited for Zavala to take the first shot at the farthest guard from his location.

"Swish"

Lilith immediately tossed a kunai in the core of the guards, she concentrated her mind and body to be as silent and as quiet as the thin air, becoming one with nature herself. She felt a sudden burst of energy surging through her body and before she knew she was already next to the thrown kunai that was burrowed in the soft ground. She quickly unsheathed one of her broadswords and stabbed through one of the Lion Guards' chest, she pulled out and moved to the next guards.

The guards hadn't noticed that there was someone behind them and they quickly noticed that there were one three of them left.

"Sir, what do we do?" asked one of the Guards that had retreated to a more open area, Lilith looked over to the feared Lion Guards. Her silver hair simmered through the sun almost blinding their eyes, only one of them could see her eyes that almost killed him.

Pureblood crimson that resembled a demon, the blood the dripped from Lilith's lips almost made the Lion Guard almost dropped his sword. Lilith smiled before it turned into a sneer, she pulled out one of her kunai and tossed it as hard as she could.

Before any of the guards could react, she already was between two of them and stabbed their neck with her kunai. Lilith quickly unsheathed her broadsword before she heard a high pitch and shot her eyes to the skies. She immediately impaled the third guard in his chest and grabbed her kunai that was left in one of the guards' neck, she started to move towards the high pitch sound.

She felt herself moving at a faster pace than she ever has been able to, she moved over a hill and saw the two girls crawling away. She immediately moved down the hill as she tossed the kunai in her hand in one of the guards that were directly behind Cayde, she felt the same surge of energy coursing throughout her body.

Bam

Lilith immediately above the guard but something wasn't right, her body started to shake and she felt herself losing her conscious. She could feel her entire expanding and felt her heart slowly stopping. She fell down on the hard ground as her body started to twitch, she could see her own blood slowly escaping her mouth.

"Don't worry, I won't make the same mistake," spoke the deep voice. Lilith lost her conscious but her body was still operating. Her body started to change, her eyes opened with a pureblood crimson rage that was contained in them.

"I am the 404 demon," spoke Lilith, her voice was deep and raspy. She got off the ground that once held her, the grass that was once lush and contained life slowly died around her. She smiled, her pure white teeth shimmered but it wasn't a smile you would give to a comrade. No, it was a smile that said, "Death has your fate and you shall die from me."
