Starting over

These feelings consume me, things I swear I've never felt. Nothing's rushed, just meant to be, loving this hand I'm being dealt. Back at the beginning, where everything's new. Never felt this way before, not as strongly as I now do. A month ago, I'd of said I'm lost, but in time I realized I just hadn't been found. My heart felt covered in a dark frost, but with your voice it melted at the slightest sound. My eyes finally opened, you show me the truth of what I am, time to wake up and take a stand. Close the door to a one sided fight, leave it behind in the dark of night. Look to the future and it's only you, with all these feelings I know it's true. Starting over isn't always bad, when someone like this makes me so glad. It's a new day to start the right life, no more hurt or anymore strife.
