One item that happens to be very useful for many kinds of experiments, happens to be the microwave's transformer. It's basically the thing that converts the electricity received to a much higher voltage.
In other words, extremely dangerous.
When a human gets shocked, their muscles will contract and freeze. So if you were to grab a transformer that's being powered, you're basically f * u_c k 3 D if you're alone. You'd end up clenching your fist extremely tightly and being locked in place. At the very least, you'd lose a few fingers and receive extremely harsh burns.
You could also just directly die.
Of course, there are also other parts of a microwave that are very dangerous.
So remember; don't just follow a random guide on the internet and do thorough research before attempting something as unnecessarily risky as taking apart a microwave and reusing its parts.
