Ranking Novels/Anime

Once you've been in the industry for a while, you'll know how impossible it is to create a top 5 or top 10 list. It just doesn't work that way. You can't compare a novel that you read 5 years ago to one you read yesterday. Time messes up your judgment to the point that you forget how good something really was. All I can say is if a book I just read is good, but that's also hard to do if a book has over 1000 chapters and I've been following it since over a year.

All we can do is say a book was pretty good. If we give a great book a perfect score, people will be disappointed when they actually read it.

So the lesson is, don't overhype something to trick your people into checking it out, since it'll most likely end poorly.
